[Maisy and me]

maple sat alone, and suddenly spotted mothtalon. she quickly looked away, to avoid an awkward gaze, and got up. she didn't see anyone else coming out of the dens yet, all except mothtalon and northernfall. northernfall was with his kits, so mothtalon was her only option. she approached the tom shyly and spoke calmly; "hey, since nobody's up and running except us yet, and I can't go on my own.. will you take me to go hunting?" she said awkwardly.

Mothtalon nodded slowly, finishing his fresh kill he got up, "Theres plenty of prey here, but i guess it does taste better fresh" He purred

Maple shrugged. "I know, I just don't feel welcome to take prey that I haven't even caught yet.." she trailed off, shifting her paws. "And I thought this might be a chance to spend time with each other like I said." she admitted, flicking her tail. she wasn't one to ever hide things, and she felt it was best to admit it now.

Smokekit tackled his sister, Heatherkit, and laughed. "Caught you! Isn't that similar to catching a mouse?" he mocked, nibbling the she-cat's ear.

Melodystar purred. "When you are older, you can. but for now you'll stay in camp." she meowed to her kits.

Heatherkit rolled her eyes, batting away her brother. "Not at all, for a mouse doesn't fight back. More like catching a rat." She stuck out her tongue, charging at him once she regained her footing.

Northernfall chuckled, picking up Hawkkit by his scruff and placing him carefully back by his siblings. "Not so fast there, Hawkkit. You're a kit still yourself. Wait another 5 moons, then you can join your mentor." He reminded.

Hawkkit moaned "But dad! I'm practically 6 moons now" He grumbled "I don't think i even need to be a apprentice, I'll just be a warrior straight away, Right Mum?"

Mothtalon looked away, and if cats could blush he would be called a fox for how embarrassed he was, but inside he was doing a little happy dance "Right I guess we should go then.."

Acorn kit woke up with a grumble."We're getting up already,"he groaned.

Storm feather still gave Maple wary glances,but she tried to let t go.She went over to orca crys side and nuzzled into his fur."Do you wanna help me patrol the border?"she purred.

Turtles kit lay in a tightly curled ball,trying to sleep.

she purred in amusement. "you can become a warrior when mice fly if you're this young." she teased. "wait another five moons, sweetheart. then you can become an apprentice, and six moons later, a warrior." she meowed, grooming the top of hawkkit's head gently.

maple - female - tags; mothtalon - crush; mothtalon

"okay." she meowed happily. "do you want to go to the river to fish, or do you want to hunt land-prey?" she asked, sounding foolish for how she said 'land-prey' like her rogue group did. she waited for him to respond patiently.

orcacry - male - tags; stormfeather - crush; stormfeather

he purred. "of course i will." he meowed, nuzzling her back. "lead the way." he meowed, entwining his tail with hers'.

Storm feather purred with content and padded towards the camp entrance heading towards the border.

Acorn kit finally got up and looked to Heather kit."Maybe we can get some of the Warriors to teach us some hunting techniques."he meowed wth a yawn.

Heatherkit's eyes brightened, "Okay!" She prodded his face after a few minutes. "Well, what're you waiting for? C'mon!" The young she-cat exclaimed, searching for a warrior to ask. She spotted Stormfeather and Orcacry by the entrance and ran over to them. "Can you teach me some moves? Like hunting and fighting and sorts?" Heatherkit pleaded, her eyes sparkling hopefully.

Northernfall watched after his daughter, keeping his eye on her incase she began to irritate the warriors too much. He chuckled, turning briefly to his mate. Northernfall sent a look her way that seemed to say, "Quite a pawful, but well worth it." He eventually retreated to Melodystar's side and had laid down. Northernfall nuzzled her affectionately, intertwining their tails together.

Acorn kit stretched before following his sister out of the den.He heard her question looked up at Stormfeather and Orcacry expectantly.


Stor feather stopped and looked down in surprise.She looked over to Orcacry silently asking for help.

orcacry purred in amusement. "after we go hunting maybe. patience, young ones." he teased, setting his tail tip gently on acornkit's head. "once you're six moons you'll be able to leave the camp with your own mentor." he promised.
