Zeth saw the look in Cira's eyes and frowned. "Ah, but remember... A male is bigger... Do not become cocky and bloated... Or you might find your limits the hard way..." She looked at her and nodded, "I can tell... He favors you and your siblings..." She frowned when she asked where she came from. "Cira... I am not your real mother... I don't know exactly where you came from other then Triant is related to you... You were given to me when you were still small and blind... I'm sure if you ask Triant he will easily answer." She listened and smiled, "You are not bad... If you are talking about my pups, they just feel cheated... When you came along... Triant forced me to wean them early... They were forced to leave the den and can no longer linger around me and expect my protection. A mother always loves her pups, adopted or born, but there is a time when she must make them grow... You will one day be weaned as well..."

Cira giggled and nodded "Okay"Another note. Don't push your limits. Cira smiled happy that Triant liked them over the others it made her feel special. Cira's smile though faded when Zeth explained what she knew, the pups insides bubbled with many emtions. He head spun no wonder the other pups didn't like her or her brothers. She couldn't believe that Triant would do something like that. She barely listened to what Zeth was saying now. For a moment she hated Triant really hated him, didn't he know that pups needed their mother. Did he steal her? The thought became as sharp as a bucks horns. Zeth said they were related, had he lied?

Cira's eyes narrowed and a low snarl escaped her little body, it was odd that she could make such a sound "He shouldn't... I...." she shook her head trying to form the words "We should never have come here!" Cira exploded. The little pup was livid, she wanted to go home she wanted to be with her real mother... she wanted her real father, it was wrong to be here.. this was not her home. Shaking from head to tail tip the pup considered running but she couldn't leave Phoenix all alone he'd miss her and she would miss him. Instead the little pup stormed back to camp abandoning her kill no longer excited about it, she stalked to the nursery den back with the other pups but instead of cuddling around Karin she went to the very back corner and huddled into a ball. Her eyes were glassy and she shut them tight her tail covering her eyes. The world had just crashed down on the pup's shoulders. She soon realized that what she thought was a safe haven was a really a war zone.

Zeth nodded and said, "Good." When Cira blew up, she frowned, "Cira... When I came to this pack... I knew what I was getting into... I don't blame you and in time neither will my pups..." She sad, following the small fea. She shook her head and said, "Cira..." She tossed the kills in the pile and walked into the den. "Cira... please listen to me... Give my pups times and then give the pack time... Everything will work out... With your talents, you will be one of the best in the pack... This pack will protect you with their lives... I'm sure Triant will take you to where you where born one day." She said quietly, gently licking Cira's back.

Cira wasn't listening, she pretended to be asleep which she knew wouldn't work. But she didn't want to hear how things would get better. She felt like she had been used her trust wasted and her love scorched. Time wasn't going to help, time would just make it worse. The longer she spent with Zeth the worse off those pups would become. Cira felt that Zeth had been cheated on time with her pups, it just wasn't fair. Just like she had been cheated with time with her own mother, Cira flinched when she felt Zeth's rasps. She didn't deserve them nor her comforting praise. "No he won't."Cira snarled. She finally unfurled her self "Triant won't take me anywhere, he stole me...just like he stole your pups from you."Cira moved away "Don't treat me or Phoenix like your pups..... we aren't and you should be with your own."She let her fluffy fur lie flat as it had been raised.

The pup decided one thing, she would ask Triant to take her back. If he refused she would run. It was the only option, the thing thing that she didn't think of was... where was she from? If she didn't know then she couldn't go back, she would have to ask Triant and if he again refused she would have to try something else. She heard his distinct howl that seemed to call the pack together, she sighed it would have to wait then. She peeked out of the den to where the others were gathering, hopping onto a small rock next to the den, she was able to see over the tall frames of the other wolves and waited. When she saw Triant standing before them her stomach lurched, so what everyone had warned her about was ture. Triant was cruel and vile, never trust him. Why hadn't she listened?

Rain smiled and curled around her litter.She relaxed in her den with them.She decided to name them. "Sky, Jay, Josh and Hope"She said naming them licking their heads. She sighed. "They are perfect..."She thought wishing she had someone to share them with.
