owlpaw yawned, he stretched out his four limbs and shook his head to fully wake himself up from his lazy afternoon nap. his fur bristled as he looked around camp from the den entrance. it look cold and windy outside. maybe it would be okay if he just cuddled up against the empty moss beds in the den. although, his stomach began to murmur, "feed us plz" so he quickly warmed himself up, ready for the climate outside. with a few seconds of preparation, he bolted out of the den, grabbing the first thing he saw on the pile. luckily, it was a nice vole. he dashed back in, trying not to wake somethingpaw or the other-apprentice-that-he-hadn't-met-yet. he warmed himself up in the moss, before beginning to snack on his meal. the wind seemed to be strong, a fierce breeze commonly blowing through. he was really cold.

Rowanheart smiled, "It's all up to you." He mewed.

Splash smiled and thought for a minute. "Well... I... I don't really care..." She said, still thinking.

[storm coming.]

With his tail shooting up and his eyes lighting he bounced eagerly after the tabby she-cat happily.

Sagestep smiled as she walked over to Swiftstar. "Swiftstar? May Stormpaw and I have a word with you for one moment?" she asked, looking back at him.

Swiftstar looked at Sagestep and nodded. "Of course, Sagestep!" she turned to look at Skybounce. "Excuse me for one moment while I speak to them." she smiled and stood to her paws. The leader padded over to Stormpaw and Sagestep, giving them some privacy. "Yes, what is it?" she asked with a small purr.

Stormpaw scuffled his paws akwardly as he looked up at his leader with his wide grey eyes, "I was wondering when I"ll be getting my mentor, Swiftstar. I understand, of course, that since the battle things have been hectic so I"m not mad!" He promised.

Rowanheart smiled softly at the she-cat blinking, he didn't know why he was so willing to help her but he felt drawn to her. "We can go hunting if you'd like and you can show off how great of a hunter you claim to be." He chuckled with a playful challenge.

[storm coming.]

Swiftstar nodded. "Yeah, I have been extremely busy ever since the battle.. plus I've found myself a mate." Swiftstar looked at Skybounce happily, hoping they would spread the news to the rest of the Clan. "I've already decided on a mentor though, Stormpaw. Redfern will be your mentor if that's alright with you?" she asked.

Sagestep blinked. Skybounce and Swiftstar are mates! No way! she smiled, excited to spread the gossip around.

Splash smiled and rolled her eyes. "Don't sound so skeptical." She said, taunting him. She turned and leaped into the bushes, disappearing with a flick of her tail.

[storm coming.]

Owlwing smiled and nodded. He jumped into the river, sending some water onto Witheredcloud's pelt. "Oops, sorry!" the tom quickly apologized and waited for her to jump in.

Stormpaw couldn't contain hishappy bounce, "Thank you Swiftstar." Hepurred.

Rowanheart smiled and hurried after her, darting into the bushes.

Splash laughed softly and stopped suddenly when she came to a clearing. She scented a rabbit in a hole, and glanced around. Seeing that Rowanheart hadn't caught up yet she leaned in. "No fox or badger scent... Old habits, don't fail me now!" She said softly, and disappeared into the shadows of the tunnel.
