I padded up to Ravenpaw. "Hi, Ravenpaw. How are you doung?" She was yiunger than me, but I didn't really mind. Any qualmsyou might have qbout age vanished when all the cats that were the same rank as you were six or seven moons younger than you.

Frostkit stood up and streached. She walked up to Mallowkit. "You want to play leader and medicine cat?" she asked Mallowkit

I purred. "Thanks! Well, I think you should be medicine cat... but have you seen how much Mallowkit clearly wants to be medicine cat? And it seems like it's more likely that the leader will choose a kit instead of someone who's already an apprentice... sorry." I apologized, worried that I'd hurt her feelings.
