Speckleddawn nods. "Im absolutely certain that's what he said, but it didn't sound like he mentioned anything about you doing something wrong." She tilts her head a little.

"..." Jackdawstar wordlessly left the medicine den and disappeared into his own den.

Speckleddawn sighs, looking back to her apprentice. "You asked me a question before Jackdawstar came into the den. What was it?" She mews.

[Cradily]

(Okay!)

"Tidepaw." Lizardtail mewed a greeting to his apprentice as he padded forward. "Training."

Mosspaw nodded her agreement. She watched Jackdawstar leave with a worried expression and sighed. Turning back to Speckleddawn, she meowed, "I was just wondering if you saw...you. Like, if you were looking through my eyes, then I must have been there, and there was that other cat, and..." She shook her head. "Forget it."

Speckleddawn blinks. "No, no, I think I understand. You're trying to ask if I, as my normal self, was in the dream, right?" She assumes, looking away. "No, I didn't. The only cat I saw was that tom." She sighs.

[totems]

Tidepaw nodded, "Okay, Lizardtail." She padded to the training grounds.

[Cradily]

"Oh." Mosspaw's ears drooped. She let out a small whimper and buried her face in Speckleddawn's fur.

Lizardtail padded along beside her. When they arrived at the training grounds, he lowered himself to the ground and huddled up as if to keep warm.

Speckleddawn gulps quietly, leaning her head on her apprentice's. "Don't fear, Mosspaw. I'm sure that won't be for... for a long time. I promise I won't let it happen until it truely must." She promises, her heart sinking. What if this is a promise I cannot keep?

Mosspaw gave a tiny nod. "What happens when it does happen? Will FallenClan survive?"

Speckleddawn looks into her apprentice's eyes. "Of course it will. You know why? Because it will have the smartest medicine cat that's ever lived." She purred, tapping her apprentice's nose with her tail.
