Caracalpaw's jaw dropped. "Oh my EonClan..." He blinked his eyes rapidly, "S-Sandpaw! I can't believe it– look!" He nodded vigorously in the direction of the ocean, where a single gray fin chiseled through the waves. "It's a shark! Like, a real live shark! I can't believe one's coming so close to the surface... whoa..." His eyes were bright with awe as the deadly fish flitted through the water.

She smirked lightly. "Well I suppose it does fit doesn't it?" She drew her paw over her ears lightly. Wileyfangs knew this wasn't exactly what she'd come back to camp for, but she didn't particularly care that much. She was already calming down anyways. "But why the whole Sand"Flash"? Where does that come from exactly?"

Sandflash shrugged a little. "It seemed like a cool name, I guess." He chuckled.

Sandpaw's eyes widened in awe. "It's beautiful..." she whispered. She took a step closer, intrigued by the fish.

"Do you think we could catch it?" Caracalpaw breathed. Imagine – him and Sandpaw bringing a shark for the fresh-kill pile! Sure, Starlingstar and the other older cats would get them in so much trouble, but it would be worth it; all their lives they'd be known as the cats who were brave and strong enough to take down a live shark.

"I dunno, it's awfully big...." Sandpaw replied. "Plus, remember what Starlingstar told us? We they have a bunch of teeth!"

Starlingstar saw that the apprentices were gone and growled "I swear I will never promote then to warriors if they can't listen, no one is gonna treat them like warriors unless they start acting like one" she growled catching their smell and followed it but staid hidden and watched the two, she saw a shark and gasped "please you two be smart and don't go near it..." She whispers

hmmm...if we go separate, we cover a lot more ground. but if we work together we could use each other to find prey and take them down. redfeather frowned and cocked her head to the side, what do you think?
