Anastasia meandered into the pasture looking rather shy for being what a bold, unusual girl she usually was. She leaned against the fence in her usual fashion but had a small bundle tied against her stomach with a colorful, large peice of fabric. Something inside the bundle whimpered in a rather child-like manner, and she gently rocked it back and forth, humming something akin to a lullaby under her breath, her eyes worried and with large bags under them -- she looked exhausted, yet her eyes shimmered as she gazed at the bundle.
Fishbowl loved the walk -- it was a good chance to get rid of some of the butterflies in his stomach as he saw how excited she was to be with him, just like he was excited to be with her, and it was nice to stretch his legs a little. The pasture was big enough, but sometimes it was hard to run in, what with all of the other chubs around, he was afraid he would bump into one of them and hurt him. He imagined the place in his mind and was already longing to grab his colored pencils and ready himself for drawing. But he didn't want to spend their time together ignoring her, you didn't have a date so you could stare at a sunset and not the beautiful girl right across from you! He looked at her and snorted happily, grinning his crooked smile at her. "I'm so glad you said yes to my offer, Hope," He admitted a little shyly, blushing in a rather charming way. "I really like you... a lot." It took a lot of courage to say it, but as soon as it was out, he felt a lot better. His stomach untied its knots, and he felt a lot less dizzy than he had before, like he could finally breathe again, the words had been wrapped around his throat, begging to be let out. "I've drawn a sunset or two before." He added in a slightly softer voice. "Something about them just leaves something to be desired. I like that moment just between dusk and dawn, where it's nice, soft gray? It reminds me of something good waiting to happen, like a blessing in disguise."
Coal saw her eyeing the picture and turned to it curiously himself, knowing all of his were safely tucked away in the craft bag in an envelope so they wouldn't get bent. It was highly unlikely one had managed to flutter out. Maybe Snowy had dropped it. He plucked it up gingerly, careful not to smudge it, and stared at it for a moment before realizing it was a picture of himself, with lip marks all over it in shimmering, shining lip gloss. "Snowy?" His eyebrows furrowed slightly as he held it aloft to show her what he had, smirking just a little bit as he said, "Did you lose this, or should I be looking for an errant fangirl running around?" He winked at her, he really hoped it was her's, he thought it was rather adorable. Especially since they had become mates in the end and now he couldn't live without her. He didn't mind it a single bit. Even though his ego wasn't THAT big, he had to admit he did like the thought of her loving him even before he was sure he loved her as much as he did.
Fireworks tried to do a flip but didn't go high enough into the air and landed heavily on his little hooves, he crumpled into a heap on the ground, the wind knocked out of him. He lay there panting for a moment while his mother watched with concern before he stood up and gave his father a grin filled with determination as he tried the flip again and tripped, sprawling onto the grass. "One more time," He muttered, and did a flip -- not a perfect flip, but a flip nonetheless, and he was still hovering in the air when it was done! Fireworks whooped loudly and did another one in mid-air, this one slightly better than the one before, and started doing wild loop-de-loops and flying sideways and what not, just showing off. His mother laughed, realizing that he was okay made her breathless and so happy. Her little boy was a flyer, and that delighted her. She'd always wanted wings of her own!
Aurora looked sorrowfully at her mother, and the tears began to flow again. "How can I trust you now? Even if it wasn't your fault, you said you'd never leave again after you got dragged away the first time, and you still did. You can't promise something like that. What if one of the other humans tries to take you away? What will you do? Hurt them?! You can't promise something like that." She shook her head vigorously, then galloped away, to the far side of the stables where she could be alone and sob in peace.
"Hmmmmmm... Star... that sounds familiar," Bronze said lightly to himself, chuckling softly. "Pretty name. I wonder where I've heard it before!" He laughed even more loudly, then settled down to finishing his journal entry with his official signature and the date so it would be perfect.
Sunny jumped, spooked a little at the sudden voice saying his name after he hadn't been paying attention for a while. He slowly turned around, and when he saw his father, his expression went a little icy, but it was obvious he was in pain, seeing his father. "Hello, Father." He said slowly, his eyes seeming to gaze right through him. He was staring at the other side of the pasture, watching a young mare galloping away.
