Pistol

Pistol shook her head in response to Shamans question. So now she new where she was. In the Rockies, wherever that was. In her home land there hadn't been any place called that so she knew she was far from home. Her memories took over and images of the dark dank ship hull she had been in after being captured. Then they switched to the young two legged who had taken her to a stall only to be released out here the next day. Pistol shook her mane riding the images from her mind and blinked a few times. She took a few steps away from the Shaman so she could see both of the stallions with her left eye without having to turn her head to much. She didn't like how long they had been standing in one place. Pistol wanted to move, to run, something.

--------------The stallion gazed affectionately over at Lyra as she nuzzled his head. A soft smiled crossed over his tired lips. He blew warm air into her pelt and nuzzled her back. He watched her for a moment as she rested her head. "Goodnight Lyra, sweet dreams." He watched her for a long while until she fell asleep. When he was certain that she was in a deep sleep he rested his head on the cold stone next to hers. A content sigh blew out from his nose. He drifted off into a deep sleep that came easy to him.

Just moments before sleep took over the filly's mind, she awoke to the soft crunch of grass as someone neared closer to her and her dam. Skittles lifted one eyelid, peering over in the direction the noise came from; her vision was blurred slightly due to her exhaustion but she could easily distingush it was Sienna. Not too far behind trailed Russet. She shivered slightly when Sienna and Russet halted to lay so close to them, but quickly subdued her movement, attempting her hardest to tolerate the new members. Skittles knew it would be a difficult challenge to get used to these new herd members; Russet more importantly, since Skittles always had skittish feelings for equids her own age. But she had faith she could do so. She shrugged softly and let her frame fall as close to her dam's as possible. A soft whinny came from her muzzle as she got more comfortable, finally closing her eyes to nap; the idea of Russet becoming a possible playmate sparked through her mind, before she finally drifted off into deep slumber.

I really couldn't imagine the worst, as I thought because of her so sweet and innocent personality every equid respected her greatly. But I had no idea how other stallions coulda act around her, I really did wish my stepdad was around, or my real father but I haden't seem them in a while. A sigh escaped me but I noticed Caelan's cheeky grin and gave him a halfhearted smile back ''I have no idea, and that's the worst part...''

Caelan flicked an ear, Kunjos obsession over his dam was slightly irritating. Reagan had left him plenty of times and you didn't see him like that. I have always been the more independent one of the two, but I thought Kunjo was braver then this. "Come on Kunjo," the young colt called "I'm sure she can manage without us, we still need to think of a prank!"

Caelan flicked a ear and swished his tail, trying hard not to bare his teeth. "Well, we cant find her and you dont want to prank," the young colt tried to disguise the venom in his voice and he only just managed. "What do you want to do then?"

I flattend my ears at him when I could hear the slight venom in his voice that he tried to hide and I raised my head and narrowed my eyes ''Look Caelan, it might be that you don't really care that much of your mom, but my mom is all that I have left and I will not just ignore the fact that she is missing. So either you can just leave right now, because I'm in no way in any pranking mood and your just being rude..And I'm sick off it, so show some respect it's my mom your talking about'' I gave him a loud snort then smacked my tail in the air. Ready to protect the only one I knew loved me off all her heart.

A smirk appeared on Caelans face, Kunjo was funny when he was defensive. "Chill bro," he said in reply, sitting back on his hindquarters slightly, "I know your worried but moaning about it wont help." He noted how he didnt say sorry, the smug look on his face appeared again. He held back his tongue, trying hard not to snap back an angry reply but he needed to keep Kunjo with him instead of against him.
