Ghostpaw blinked, then said, "What fighting moves do you know, Shadeheart?" she asked.

Marspaw jumped on Shadeheart's tail and made Shadeheart hump and spin around. She snarled and llashed out, but then noticed it was only Marspaw.

Ghostpaw laughed.

Indigopaw stretched and sat up in her nest. She began to clean her pelt and stopped in midlick as her brother, Batpaw, grumbled about DoveClan cats and turned over in his sleep. She rolled her eyes and finished cleaning herself. Indigopaw's pelt glistened slightly in the sunlight that was filtering through the den walls and reflected off the golden Twoleg object she had found near Twolegplace the previous sunrise. She nosed it under her nest, and trotted out into the clearing.
