Hawktalon narrowed his eyes. He snorted and lashed his tail. "I am Hawktalon. Warrior of Wolfclan and i also live here!" He meowed. "Now who are you?!" He added.

"Well, I have never lived with anyone but myself, my mother, and my father, who are dead." Leaf growled. "If you have a problem with me, chase me out." She sighed and tensed, ready to run.

Hawktalon just frowned. She is pretty, he thought. "No your not a problem," he meowed. He was shocked by what he said. He felt his ears grow hot.

"I-I'm not a problem?" Leaf was confused. I'm not a problem? No one has ever said that to me, except my mother and father. Why would a Clan cat tell me I'm not a problem? She thought. "How am I not a problem? I'm always a problem because i 'steal food' or 'take up too much room' or 'cause too many fights' or something..."

"Well your not as bad as the others. One of my clanmates were attacked by a loner that joined our clan. She was a spy and their is a band of loners wanting us dead," he explained.

"That's a problem. Can't you just fight off the loners?" Leaf questioned, licking her left paw. "I mean, just injure the leader. There's no point in killing to win a battle. One you've earned your place at the top, chase them out before they make a new Clan or something. It's simple." Leaf didn't like taking about war, but she liked to make plans.

"We already have another clan and the loners have not attacked us and we don't know which clan they are going to attack," Hawktalon meowed. He felt guilt knaw at him. He saying to much. He shuffled his paws and glanced around. "Well i have to go," he whispered. He didn't the feeli.g that formed in his chest but it felt weird.
