Dewpelt

Dewpelt stretched and walked out of the nursery, her swollen belly nearly touching the ground. She purred with joy as the sun hit her fur, warming her up from the outside. She quickly turned and started grooming herself as she watched her clan members interact. She sat and watched them as she imagined her future kits bouncing around camp. Dewpelt giggled to herself.

Hollytail watched her kits play? Hollytail purred remembering when she was a kit herself. Her, her half brothers and sister, when they were in the clan. Then, there was before she joined a clan. Hollytail sighed. The queen remembered that. But she had bigger problema. Such as. Her and Sandclaw. And her kits. She spotted Maplepaw and Thornpaw playing with Falconpaw, Eaglepaw, and Hawkpaw. Falconpaw. She and Maplepaw were almost the same. Except. One left. The other was training in the Dark Forest.

Dewpelt's ear twitched, and she met eyes with Hollytail. She smiled, and her whiskers twitched along with her grin. "Hello Hollytail!" Dewpelt called, her voice mellow and friendly. "How's things?" She asked, her green eyes glittering when the sun hit them.

"Hello Dewpelt, and thinga have been doing wonderfully. How have you been feeling?" Hollytail asked the she-cat. Hollytail's eyes glimmered. Hollytail kept a wary eye on her kits. Soon they would be apprenticed.

"I've been feeling fine lately, although this belly is getting pretty annoying..." She admitted. "I feel like I cant take a few pawsteps before bumping into something or someone!" She laughed to herself. "Tell me Hollytail," Dewpelt began, "Is it hard... being a mother?" She paused, swiping a paw casually over her own ear. "I can't help but worry that I'm not prepared enough... Maybe that's just natural? I don't know..." She mewed. "Kits seem fun and all, but they're also a pawful." She added.

"MOMMY! I'M HUNGRY!" He wined loudly stomping out of the nursery.

"Kits are lovely, but a lot of work." Hollytail meowed. "Just depends on the type of kit." She looked at her kits, that were now apprentices. "My kits were trouble makers, but I didn't mins. They are the last two of their litter. So as long as they have someone to play with, they shouldn't get bored to easily." Hollytail said turning her gaze back to Dewpelt. Hollytail sighed hearing her kit wailing. "And if they want food. Remember to give it to them."

"Come on, I don't wanna wait until I'm a warrior." He wailed sitting on Hollytail's tail. He quickly pummeled the fluffy object like it was a fox.
