[~Sticks & Stones~]

~Sunheart~

She gave Maple a small smile before going to the prey pile and grabbing a few pieces of prey. She brought them back and dropped them at the entrance.

~Star~

She pushed through the cat door quietly and looked back for a second. Then Star leapt onto the fence. She looked down and jumped into the forest. She walked around for a while , examining the trees. She sighed sitting in a clearing she remembered clearly. Star visited the grave every day, a large rock was placed where she and her siblings had buried Bim.

~Lik~

"BIM!" I screamed trying to push past my brother. We watched helplessly as Star was taken, the monster rattled around and she was swung side to side in the back window. Bim raced past Silver and I attempted to stop her. It didn't work. She jumped and grabbed the back of the monster, her hindlegs swinging in the air. She tried to pull herself up but slipped as they passed over a bump, she was swung under the monster and hit by it's thick black paws. I was screaming at her to get up, tears pouring out of my eyes...

I woke with tears pouring down my face, almost every night I had a dream or nightmare about being with my family. I looked at Silver and slowly wiped the tears off with my paw. " It happened again. Why is it always that one?" I muttered my voice cracking.

Silver perked his ears and wrapped his long tail around his brother. "It's going to be hard. It's not your fault, it's not anyone's fault. Try not to think of it like horror, imagine it as a memory of Bim." He meowed. He was never good with advice.

Maple trotted forward and hooked a vole up with her claws. She quickly and ravenously ate it, finishing it quickly. "T-thanks," she smiled.

~Sunheart~

She nodded, smiling. " Of course. I know what it's like to have no one like you, not to belong." She looked at the ground slightly as she said this and her tail curled around herself.

~Lik~

He smiled up at Silver he knew his brother was trying," Okay, thanks." he purred and looked at their small prey stock. " We need to get more prey if we're going to survive. " he said quietly.

Maple could tell the shecat was pregnant, so her expression was surprised. "You didn't have.. anyone?" She meowed.

Silver nodded. "I'll go hunting soon. It's almost sunset." He Meowed.

She shook her head," When I first got here I had no one. Before that, in my old clan, I didn't have anyone either. " She looked back up, " And if you wondering about the kits, their father died in the battle." She said softly, she wasn't angry, she was depressed. She sighed inwardly and dropped her gaze back to the ground.

~Lik~

He looked at Silver," Can I help too?" he asked. He wanted to learn how to hunt, so he could help.

Maple sighed, almost in a guilty way. "My sister killed him.." She murmured. She felt as if she were a problem. Maybe she should leave? "Sorry..."

Silver shrugged. "I guess, if you want."

She shook her head," No it's fine. It's not like it's your fault he died." she said and smiled at the she-cat.

~Lik~

His eyes lit with excitement." R-really! " He exclaimed happily.

[Maisy and me]

"Maybe.. I don't know if she'll want to see me" Mothtalon shrugged "But its not going to be easy to avoid her if shes staying"

Hawkkit looked out the door as his other eye became use to the light "Its big" Was all he said "Like you!" He giggled

Smokekit perked his ears. "What's out there?" He squealed, stumbling toward the den's entrance.

He took a quick glance at the elder's den. " Looks like Sunheart's already beat us too it. " He purred smiling.

~Ravenkit~

She looked at her siblings and watched them from her quiet spot in the corner. The black kit didn't feel like playing for some reason, she didn't exactly know what but just ignored it.
