Hawkkit squeezed open one eye and peered around, he couldn't see properly and could only take in the shadows of his parents and siblings, he stretched out in the nest while the vision became less blurry, with one eye wide open and the other shut he stood and took his first wobbly steps towards his father.

"I'm sorry to hear that" Mothtalon dipped his head "I never met my father, Mama said that he was a noble warrior who died in battle, but Willowstar and Oaktail won't speak about him.."

He looked at the tom," Do you think my siblings are out there?" He wondered out loud. Honestly he didn't know, he had stayed here and had always wondered where they went.

Northernfall let out a rumbly purr and began to groom Hawkkit. "What do you think of camp?" he asked with a warm smile. He glanced at his mate and the rest of his kits lovingly before returning his gaze to Hawkkit beside him.
