Bandit

Bandit curled her lip, rosy eyes darkening to a venomous blood-red hue. She lowered her head, ears laid back like they were pinned there. "What's... wrong?"she hissed out between gritted teeth, eyes narrowing to dagger-like slits, "You come prancing up here and have the sheer nerve to ask me what's wrong!" Mane bristling straight up along her spine, she advanced stiffly towards him, hooves striking the ground in sharp thuds. "I'll tell you what's wrong," she said dangerously in a low voice, whip-like tail lashing behind her. Now she was so close she could smell the scent of summer grass in his coat, murderous eyes glaring straight into his. "You. Me. Halo." Scalding tears began to spill from her eyes at the mention of his name before she could stop them, leaving wet tracks through the velvet fur along her cheekbones. "Remember, Canad?" she growled his name. Her mane lashed her neck as the wind raced through it, throwing it in her eyes. "Remember now?" Bandit was shivering uncontrollably as the tears coursed down her cheeks, shivering from anger and disbelief and terrible aching pain.

((Not my best... I have to get off now, though, so I just wanted to get this up.
And LostGosling, she'll notice Halo in a second, but this happened so fast while I was offline that I had to do this. Plus I kind of like the drama. It'll make it better when Halo and Bandit meet up again as well.))

[center]Sasha nodded her head thoughtfully as Sky spoke, it explained a lot really. Though Sasha wondered how Canad could come and talk to another mare so quickly, if he really did like Bandit as Sky said. Tossing her head, which allowed her mane to fly freely, Sasha felt the muddy hair slap against her side. Wincing she looked hopefully up at Sky. "Hmmm I hate it when my coat is all muddy and ugly like this....I don't suppose....do you know any areas by the river that are shallow enough for me to wash all this muck off? I was going to do it myself earlier but...I was too nervous about drowning, since there were no other Equids around to aid me if something went wrong." She knew how needy and pathetic that sounded but....Sasha needed that bath, and could hardly believe the other horses weren't curling their noses up at her, given her state of disrepair.

My ears pricked, "Livius?" I called, heading in the direction I thought he voice had come from. I picked up a canter and looked around, keeping my distance from a fallen dead tree and found myself at a different part of the river that was farther from the place I had started. Fear swelled in my chest, what if he's lost? I thought in fear then dashed back into the forest and looked all around then gave up and dashed back to the river. I need help finding him, what if he is getting attacked by the rouge? I thought and saw Canad by a mare and galloped over to him with my tear drenched face, "Canad!" I called over the wind, "Canad! I need help!" I called again.

Even with The muddy coat Skyrionic thought she looked Pretty. "As a matter of fact I do. If You woul Like, I can show you. there are a cupple spots actualy." Skyrionic said, shakeing his mane as fly was really starting to annoy him.

"bandit, calm down! he is just down by the river taking a nap! i would never hurt him!" he said, aghast with the thought that this mare thought he killed his own liege. he tried to calm her, keeping his own cool. he was surrounded by others, making this quite the awkward situation for him. he looked back at sasha, having just caught her name. it was sky who was leading her away. not again... he thought.

[center]Sasha felt relief flood through her, and was just about to utter her thanks when she noticed him flicking yet another fly off his pelt, amusement coursed through her, and she stamped a hoof and looked at him with amusement in her eyes. "The way those flies seem to be enjoying your company suggests that you could use a soak yourself!" She said, her melodic voice tinkling with amusement. The arrival of a frantic looking mare, who seemed to be calling for Canad and looking anxious, fully caught Sasha's attention, and the dun mare's ears pricked forward as she watched the brilliantly coloured mare race for the herd leader. "I wonder whats happened...." Sasha mused thoughtfully, worry nibbling at the edge of her mind. Dissent and problems within a herd were never good, and not for the first time Sasha felt a tugging within herself to leave. She really had no desire to get caught up in some sort of problem, it just wasn't wise. After I've cleaned myself up I'll simply thank them politely for entertaining my company and leave. Yet the confidence she tried to show through those words fell woefully short, and Sasha couldn't help but let a heavy sigh escape her. What if she settled down? Surely that was possible for her....wasn't it? Tossing her mane in frustration Sasha flicked Sky with her tail, "C'mon, lets get going." She murmured, not really caring if the stallion detected the angst in her voice.

[I hope you don't mind me referring to Skyrionic as Sky, it just seemed the natural way of shortening it, and its a rather long name to have to repeat all the time XD If you'd rather just have Sasha refer to him by his full name just say the word and I'll make sure to keep it as such.]

[center]Sasha eyed the spot that Sky had led her to, for a moment she hesitated, caught between a desire to roll around crazily in the water or keep up her dignified stature. But considering that fact that she was coated with mud, it seemed that the latter option was out anyways, plus she didn't plan on staying, so what could it hurt? With a delighted neigh the dun mare threw herself into the water, rolling around and getting herself completely soaked until all the mud was washed away. Then, with a content sigh, she stood and shook off the water droplets still hanging to her coat.

Turning now to Sky with an amused look in her eyes, she tossed her mane and spoke. "So, how do I look now? Acceptable?" Her dun and white coat sparkled in the sunlight, and though her sides were heaving from the exertion of rolling around, she still glistened in the sunlight, and the slight breeze that was floating around caused her mane to dance slightly in the breeze.
