Her face went through a variety of emotion as she watched the two. 'Treepaw.' She began, steadily. 'How do you know this tom is your father?' She did not retract her claws or lower her fur, still watching Pebblepelt with suspicion.

Flicking her tail, not letting her guard down, Dovetail stared him down, not comfortable with how close he was acting to Treepaw. 'In your dream...' She mulled over Treepaw's words, then half-turned, to look at Silverstar's den. 'Silverstar!' She called, and then waited.

The tom let out a small hiss of annoyance as Dovetail called for Silverstar. He still drew Treepaw close to him with his tail. He washed her pelt slowly, then stopped as Treepaw walked off towards Dovetail.
