"What on earth..." He mumbled quietly, lifting his head to stare at Cuan. He sniffed the air and couldn't find anything wrong with the scents he smelt. He looked at Ayet and tilted his head, then looked back at Cuan. 'Something has to be wrong for her to act up like that.' He thought.

Rivers attention left Ayet and Torka her tail stopped waging as she tilted her head and looked at Cuan. She began to sniff the air around her trying to see if she could pin point the reason for Cuan's strange outbreak.

Kyero heard a noise, but was to far away to understand it. He flicked his ear towards it and stopped, waiting to see if the sound was made again.

"Don't go.."Timid Dart said, louder now."I'll...I'll just see if you could join. Would you like that?"She asked him cautiously. It was a big mistake, she just knew it. But something, like compassion in the depths of her heart woudl not allow him to leave. The wolf waited for his response, almost wishing he would say 'no, I shouldn't.', but she knew that she really did not feel that way.

Kyero turned back. "Are you sure about this? I don't want to get you killed," he asked, "So, where's the alpha?" Kyero padded back to the edge of the territory, "I don't want any risk, so, would you get them for me?"

Timid Dart nodded."Very sure,"She shrugged."I'm not sure where he is. Somewhere....probably in camp. He may be making some important announcements,"The wolf giggled."Announcements that I'm missing. We had better get going,"Dart said, still sounding a bit unsure, despite her words. She took in a deep breath, prayed silently, and began padding forward.

Toko was pretty much like an uncle to Torka, and one of his earliest pack-life memories was playing with the adult.

Toko took in a deep breath and padded over to his position at Ayet's right. The beta loved these ceremonies, and he remembered his own years ago, and how excited he had been. Today however, there was a flicker of nervousness in Toko's heart. He wanted so badly to mentor Torka, so badly to be the role in the pup-- no, wolf's life. But whatever Ayet decided was fine by him, as always.

"And, oh, if you actually do get kicked out, you can always come and live with me. My place is nice," Kyero smiled. He padded forward, unsure of what else to say.

Timid Dart nodded. She listened to his words, taking them in."Unless, of course, they kill us first,"She murmured under her breath. Shrugging, she kept going forward."Now, I believe a pup was going to begin training today..we may have to wait a little while,"The wolf explained,"We should stick to the background."

Kyero agreed. He didn't want any part of this pack, if the result of being here was going to get him killed.
"Well, what should we do while we wait? Just sit around, I guess?" he suggested, "I could go hunt... Maybe an offering would soften up the alpha?"
