"One minute," muttered Naomi, concentrating on the bracelet. After a moment, it snapped close with a soft click. "There we are!" she said triumphantly. She looked up, smiling warmly at Foxstride as she nodded in greeting. "Not bad," she replied. "I hope you didn't run into any trouble?"
Foxstride nodded at the tabby, "It was long but I got here in one piece." Foxstride curled her tail around herself and shivered in the autumn air, "Soon the trees will lose their leaves, and me and my sister will have to find a place to settle for the winter," turning her head to the tabby, "I guess we better get going before it happens, huh?" Fox shook out her pelt and stood awaiting the tabby's answer.
Moonfeather struggled through the brambles in the woods trying to find her sister. She yowled as a thorn scratched her cheek. Angrily she pushed through the nettles until she fell into a clearing. Moon stood slowly and shook her head. She slowly looked around to realize she had happ3ned upon a clan camp. Moon quickly ducked down and flattened her ears. Tail twitching she attempted to back out unnoticed.
Pineclaw looked up again, considering the offer. He wasn't a kit, who went crying to a medicine cat with every minor injury, but...the thorn was at an awkward angle. He could pull it out himself, but he'd end up tearing his pawpad. Cherryleaf would be able to reach it more easily...Joyfeather16 wrote:Cherryleaf blinked as she moved over, "Thorn?" She asked with curiosity as she sniffed it, "I could try and pull it out if you want?" SHe offered shyly as she looked up to the tabby tom.
"I'd appreciate that." he said after a moment, choosing practicality over pride. He held his paw out towards her.
Eaglestar nodded in thanks, slipping past him. Stray thorns tugged at her fur, but Tigerclaw was able to keep most of them out of the way. Unsheathing her claws, she got to work, quickly digging at the base of the bush. Her claw snagged at a root, and she reached down, ignoring the taste of the dirt as she pulled the root from the earth. She repeated the process, quickly loosening the bramble's hold on the ground. As she tugged at a particularly stubborn root, the bush began to tip, no longer able to support itself. Quickly tearing up the root, Eaglestar scrambled out of the way as the thorny bush fell to it's side, the branches creaking in complaint.Joyfeather16 wrote:Tigerclaw nodded, bright amber eyes bright with anticipation as he moved over carefully, bracing his broad shoulders against the bush and pushing carefully, thankful for his thick tabby coat that mostly tangled the bramble's thorns into his pelt, not penetrating it. "Alright I think I've got it." He announced.
Naomi nodded in agreement. She began gathering up her supplies, wearing what was practical and wrapping the rest up in a cloth which she wedged into a crack in the rocks, followed by a pawful of dead leaves to hide it. Satisfied that it would be safe, she looked back up at Foxstride. "Oh! And before I forget, these are yours." she said, nodding towards the feathers and necklace.ToritheElf wrote:Foxstride nodded at the tabby, "It was long but I got here in one piece." Owlkit, having slipped away while his mother was occupied with his siblings, wobbled into the camp. His eyes were wide he watched the cats hurrying left and right. He opened his mouth slightly to better scent the air, picking out the smells of clanmates and forest. Suddenly a blur of grey tumbled into the clearing in front of him, and he fell backwards in surprise. The smell that came from her was odd; not like that of his clan. He stared, torn between the curiosity that urged him to investigate and the wariness that told him to flee.ToritheElf wrote:Moonfeather struggled through the brambles in the woods trying to find her sister. Shiverwhisker meowed, giving them a smile. He padded forward, gripping a bramble trendal in his jaws and tugging at it, working on pulling it free.~Willow wrote:Shiverwhisker turned to face Cloverswirl. "I think my apprentices and I have this covered. Why not go see if you can join a patrol or something." he meowed, voice slightly blunt as he turned back to his work, tugging at the brambles again. He eventually managed to tug it free with a mighty heave and a grunt, sending the tom tumbling backward and into the small stream.
(Kinda murge the actions here... idk ^^')

She continued to rasp her pink tongue over her not-as-tangled fur, slower, neater now. She did ruffle her curly fur in some places, making her appear less frail and in need of food. All this was given away by the faint gurgle of her belly, causing her to hiss in annoyance. She drew her thick tail close around her belly, hoping to get it to stop. She looked over at Arcade, ears hot with embarassment. "-I guess I'll take you up on that help. I-It's aweful kind of you to do that for me." she mewed, lowing her head in deep embarassment at her still-growling belly.
