Bloomfur nodded. "I understand..." she lay her head over the edge of the pond and sighed

Midnightkit's tail flicked. her heart thudded. she looked aorund. 'where am i?"

Redwhisker felt bad that he didn't have the guts to tell her, and she was upset. But, he knew what would happen. What if she didn't feel the same way? What if Starclan was really angry? Anything could happen.. So he had to keep his mouth shut and feel really bad for making her upset.

Bloomfur lifted her head. "I think I need to tell you.." She said at last. "I will feel guilty if I don't.."

Redwhisker looked at her, "What..?"

Bloomfur took a deep breath and looked at Redwhisker. "Redwhisker.." She started. "If you don't feel the same way.. i-i understand.. but I need you to know that... that i-i.." She could barely speak. "I think I like you.. "She quickly turned away and closed her eyes, embarrassed. -you mousbrain, why did you say that! Dawnkit had heard what happened. she dashed out of the bush she was hiding in. 'what???"

Redwhisker was about to answer her, when he jumped at the small voice, "Dawnkit!"

Bloomfur passed out and fell into the pond. With the surprise of the cold water, she leaped out of the water and looked at Dawnkit, then Redwhisker and her eyes filled with sadness. She dashed back to camp
