Snow looked over and smiled when she saw Scout. "Hey, Scout." She barked.

Malcom picked up the screaming from five hallways away, and noticed it getting louder as he got closer to his destination. Was he in the special class where all the troubled, emotional students where? Or was this the norm for most of the school?

With option a, he would have been humiliated. With option b, he would have to invest in some quality ear protection. He couldn't risk for his sharp senses to go dull, he would need all of them. Every advantage he could get.
