Browntail yawned and stood up, stretching out her paws- she never liked staying in one place for long, but she still didn't want to deal with the kits. She looked around for the leader, shivering a little once her eyes fell on Southstar. They won't know. she thought, starting to move closer to them so she could ask if she could go out of camp on patrol. They would likely be done with the ceremony soon, after all.

Hornetkit dashed out of the den, leaving Wolfkit alone through excitement. She ended up crashing into a warrior- she rapidly scooted back, hoping they wouldn't notice her as she tried to escape.

Streamspot proudly smiled at her apprentice. "Stageleap! Stagleap! Stagleap!" She called out being one of the first cats to do so. It was a bittersweet moment for her. She would miss taking the young cat out training everyday. At the same time she knew how much she deserved her new position and name and how she so desperately had wanted it.

Bearpaw practically was bouncing up and down in her excitement. "I can't wait!" she meowed. "I heard they smell bad. I wonder if EagleClan really still wear kittypet collars? Do you think they'll try and start a fight?" Having only recently being apprenticed she had only heard nursery stories about the other clan.

"No they don't still wear collars and I don't think they'll start a fight as we don't have a reason for them to start one with us," he shakes his head before leading Bearpaw towards the entrance as they waited for the rest of the cats that were going to the gathering to gather.

Weaselstripe dipped his head to Tigerblaze as a greeting while the two of them waited for the apprentices and rest of the warriors to go. He didn't see what everyone could be doing that was taking them all that long. He noticed how Riverstripe had disappeared and groaned some, wondering where his former mentor would have gone now.

Stagpaw bowed her head once before she had began hearing chanting from her fellow clanmates of her new name. "thank you," she purred once to the learder. She glanced back at her clan, smiling once as she would now state she was a warrior whenever she could. Though she wondered if she would have to sit vigil tonight or wait until they got back from the gathering.

Russetswirl had joined in with Stagleap's cheering, feeling a lot of pride for the new warrior. He turned to Acornspots after he had stopped and purred as he closed his eyes. "Yes, I am proud of her. I knew she could do it once she did heal." He never had kits but he'd imagine it was like that, he had grown close with Stagleap when she was in the medicine den for so long that he did feel like she was his kit.

Robinwind sorted through his herbs, pacing around the medicine cat den. He huffed, stressed. There was a lot on his mind. He wanted to be able to do something useful, rather than just wait. But if he left, then Beestar and her kits could be in danger. The medicine cat sighed and pulled a leaf that had gotten caught in his pelt. Maybe he would go talk to Creamflower, she always seemed to be a good cat to talk to, and might ease his stress about the kits a little bit.

He called out, "Stagleap! Stagleap!" He looked to nightwish. "Tomorrow we can go and battle train and gather herbs. I imagine we'll be leaving soon and I have to share my knowledge with russetswirl and southstar," he commented. He stared off at the new warrior. He knew how close they had gotten to the she cat. He worked his tail off helping so she would reach this moment.

"I'm sure she is," Sunflare agreed. "Although I do feel a bit bad for her sometimes, but no cat can deny her skill. She seems to be handling things well overall...What about you?" He asked curiously. "Have you ever wanted to be a warrior or medicine cat? Or have you always wanted to be a queen?"

"Sorry," Riverstripe apologized, "but, well...I hope you don't mind, but I asked Beestar if you could go to the gathering in my place. You looked like you wanted to go and I don't really want to tonight." His gaze pleaded with her silently, hoping she understood. "Do you mind?"

"Come on, they don't smell THAT bad. Just different. You get used to it eventually." Splashpaw grinned before following his gaze to Tigerblaze and Weaselstripe, who looked a bit annoyed as they waited by the camp entrance. "Yeah, you're right. Come on!" Nudging Jackdawpaw and Ivypaw in turn, she bounded over to the two warriors.

Tigerblaze looked up when the group of apprentices joined him and Weaselstripe, followed by Blizzardclaw and Bearpaw. "Now where's Riverstripe?" he huffed. "Will someone please go fetch him?"

Nightwish cheered Stagleap's name in unison with Daydream. "Stagleap! Stagleap! Stagleap!" At the tom's suggestion to train and gather herbs tomorrow, she nodded eagerly. "Sounds like a plan!" She hadn't battle trained with a clanmate since she was an apprentice, and never with Daydream. She was excited to spar against the medicine cat, seeing as he had been one of the most skilled warriors.

"I don't like mouse tails anyway!" Littleflower purred before breaking into chanting the new warrior's name. "Stagleap! Stagleap!"

Darkpaw noticed the she-cat's change in attitude and felt a stab of guilt. He hadn't meant to hurt her feelings, but there he went again. Way to go, mouse-brain. He called out Stagleap's name, but his voice sounded dull and monotonous compared to the rest of the clan.

Southstar mirrored Stagleap's smile back at her. You've done well, he thought. He waited for the cheers to die down before he continued. "And now, for those who will be attending the gathering tonight..." His gaze swept over his clanmates. Streamspot and Daydream were a given, obviously, but for the others...He began to list off the names slowly. "Mistflower, Foxcloud, Swiftbadger, Littleflower, Stagleap, Goldenrose, Darkpaw, and Quiverpaw."

He looked at nightwish. "I'll let you know what happens," he said," I have to tell Southstar about the vision before we get to the gathering." He smiled. "Southstar," he said to the leader, "do you mind if I have a word with you and russetswirl quickly before we depart?"

she cheered for the apprentice before eagarly smiling at the fact she was going to the gathering. When she seen her brother turn away from nightwish, which she thought was rude, she bounded over to the she cat. "Hey nightwish!"

Creamflower nuzzles Sunflare before answering his question, happy to answer it. "Ive always wanted to be a queen." she answered. "But I knew in order to become a queen, I have to be a warrior first. Luckily, I accomplished my dream in a few moons time!"

When her name was called, she grew anxious before she heard Quiverpaw's name be called too. She would be fine, Quiverpaw was going to be with her and she wouldn't let the apprentice probably leave her side. Her apprentice was as much as her security blanket tonight as much as she was hers on a normal day.
