Murderers in Riverclan V.2 [Roster Update 10/30]

Night had fallen once again on the cats of Riverclan. Aside from the whispers of the wind the air rang with no sound. Duckpaw was asleep in her den, when suddenly something jolted her awake. Standing near her was the black shadow of a cat, she could hardly see. “Duckpaw, Winterstar ask me to get you he needs to talk to you.” Duckpaw still quite asleep followed the cats command. The she-cat followed the shadow as they walked into the forest. They came to a clearing then the shadow stopped. The shape in front of her was breathing heavily. “Where’s Winterstar?” The apprentice asked, the long silence starting to scare her. “Duckpaw, you do live up to your name” She flinched back when she heard this. “What do you mean?” she asked her voice trembling with fear. “You always were a bird brain.” The shadow twisted round now facing the scared apprentice. The shadow grew closer. Closer, until all the apprentice could see was fur. Something gave off a glint of light. Something sharp like a blade. The claw of a cat. The she-cat ran. But the figure seemed to be faster disappearing in and out of the trees. There was a swift sound. She froze. Weighed down by another cat. Their claws drilling into her back “Bird brain” whispered the killer into Duckpaws ear as the life drained from Duckpaw her eyes losing their colour then shutting tight.

Jayfoot

Jayfoot was sleeping in the warriors den, but something wasn't right with him self recently, his scar on his left eye he got 3 moons ago, started to bleed again, a chance of infection. But he wasn't worried about that, he was having a nightmare:

He dreams of being in the clearing of the clan territory, he sees blood and cats being slaughtered by a shadowy figure. Jayfoot looked terrified as the shadow struck WinterStar, the last thing that happens in the dream, was the shadow hissing out in rage "RIVER CLAN FALLS!" and the shadow struck Jayfoot in the neck.

Jayfoot woke after that and latterly almost screamed out his fear, which could wake the clan, of course, he had been realizing that some cats wanted him to go, but what did he do? Cry in sorrow over Foxkit? Well, some of his dream was still there... the smell of blood, but wait, was it real? He went over toward the smell, it was out of the area... he went closer. There, he saw a bloody, dead, Duckpaw. He screamed in horror, he could not take it anymore, he fainted just as he saw it.

Hawkpaw gasped from his nightmare. He looked around at the asleep apprentices in the den. Someone's missing.. Duckpaw! He thought. Quickly padding out of the den, he looked around to see if he could see anyone around. He heard a yowl, and quickly ran over. It was Jayfoot, and a dead Duckpaw. A small tear rolled down his cheek as he stared in horror at the dead cat. He then realized Jayfoot fainted. " Littlemoon! " He called, running towards the medicine den.

She woke up to a start and shivered still shaken from Foxkit's death, I didn't hear him get up at all?, she thought doubting herself then suddenly started searching for Littlekit and sighed in relief as she found her with her tail and wrapped it around her, "You will be safe little one, I will make sure of that...", she whispered and look over at Bramblingflower who was also still sleeping. my my tired today aren't we?, she thought to herself and silently giggled to herself
