Thoren smiled almost time he thought, his paws tingled

Taint looked at Thoren. She loved him with all of her heart but didn't want to tell him because of his fears

Shadepaw beamed, happily looking up at her mentor.

[bluex]

{Shilo} "Now Nidora, I'm going to leave. I have to stay with your mother to repay her to avoid being killed. You wouldn't have that opportunity. Come out now, they said it's okay. They are having a meeting," He added as Nidora slowly crawled out of the bush. He touched her ear with his muzzle, "I will always be there for you, even if your mother is not." He slowly walked out of camp, looking back occasionally and forcing smiles.

{Nidora} Her eyes almost welled up with tears when the last of the cats she knew were gone. She sat next to her bush, not daring to go near any of the other cats. Her whiskers twitched when she heard "Shadepelt." "What a funny name," she pondered. She started to listen as attentively as the other cats there. "What a silly bunch of cats they are..." She wanted to pad over to the cream she-cat who she had helped carry a very young cat to the clearing, but she was crouching next to Stormpaw, and Nidora felt that if she went near him, he would claw her ears off.

{Cherrypaw} She looked back at Nidora. Poor cat. She motioned awkwardly with her tail to tell Nidora to come. Nidora shuffled her paws nervously before padding over to sit next to her. She noticed Nidora was quite awkward with Stormpaw, seeming she almost killed him. Her eyes were round with sympathy as Nidora settled down next to her, not daring to speak. Her mind cleared when she realized Nidora was just interested in the meeting. Cherrypaw smiled. It was quite an interesting pair of cats she was in between. Nidora, a rogue with an artificially tainted heart, and Stormpaw, a severly damaged young apprentice. She flicked her ears in acknowledgement of the speech the leader was making, and shouted Shadepaw- no, Shadepelt's new name. "Shadepelt! Shadepelt!"

{Stormpaw} He cheered weakly with Cherrypaw. "Shadepelt! Shadepelt... Shade-" He fell asleep.

{Meridian} She trodded through the forest, pleased of her threats. The Clan cats didn't scare her, and they never would. Meridian settled in her hollow tree and rested. Nothing would disturb her, they wouldn't dare. She fell asleep, prepared for a bloodbath of a dream.

{Greyclaw} "Shadepelt! Shadepelt! Shadepelt!"
