Akane gazed back at Dante, their eyes meeting for a short period of time before she forced herself to move it. She has to watch where she was going, how else would she win? She increased her pace, tiny beads of sweat appearing under the thick fur around her neck. She wasn't built to run, but was a tiny detail like that going to stop her?
She bounded forwards, the soft earth crunching beneath her paws. She loved the feeling this gave her, just to feel free again... Free from the worry of everyday life out here, free from duties for now.

Sanity let out a deep sigh as her paws hit the hard ground. She was trotting up to the dormant volcano, alone. She wondered if it was her personality that might repel her friends away from her. Ugh, I'll have real friends someday, she thought. She had high doubts about it, though. It was in her free time, her alone time, when she would become a total softy and think deeply to herself. Of course, she wouldn't act that way around others. In her opinion it made her look vulnerable. The ran pattered hard against her fur and her pace quickened. "I need to get out of this storm," she muttered softly to herself.
