Venom managed to get above the filly, at least half-way into a standing position. With his right front knee he pressed on Temperance's throat, trying to finish her off. He wasn't usually so dreadfully homicidal, but something about this filly and her attitude agitated him.
Temperance tried to kick out at him, but she was too weak, all of her kicks were simple nudges to Venom.

Aubrey could watch no longer, she lunged forward and began ripping and tearing at Venom's skin. He screamed in pain, jolting upwards and slamming himself into Aubrey, who fell beneath his weight.
Temperance tried to catch her breath, but it felt impossible to do. She was too frightened to relax, especially with Venom still in view.

Silicon snorted, his ears flattened as he muttered under his breath.
"Stupid stallion..." he said, clenching his teeth. He halted, pricking his ears when he heard
something behind him. He glanced back, his eyes wide when he saw Chance.
"Who-..what are you...?" he studdered in bewilderment.

Chance came up to him and smiled. "Doing what I've been wanting to do since I was born. So where are we headed?"

"Uh, Im not too sure really. I was sort of wandering." he said, smiling a bit awkwardly. "So I see you dislike your herd." he said, walking forward.

She followed. "Let's see. My shallow mother, who doesn't like me, dumped me and my sister, who doesn't like me, with her least-favourite person in the world and his kid, both of which are creepers. Nothing left to like."

Venom heaved, pulling himself off of Aubrey. He looked down at her crushed frame. "Aubrey! I'm sorry...I didn't know that was you..." He narrowed his eyes and glared back at Temperance, who was holding onto her life by a thread.
"Please...Don't kill me...I'll stay!" Temperance begged.
Venom rolled his eyes, "Like I would want you here anymore! You killed the only faith I had," Venom stamped his hoof into the earth, cracking rocks. Temperance jumped backwards, even though she was injured and still on the ground.
Aubrey struggled to stand, but Venom helped her. She rejected him, shoving him away.

"Are you crazy? You think I would take you back after you almost killed me?" She said in a panicked tone, but an end had to be put to his homicidal stallion. She charged and jumped onto him, they both fell back into the engulfing darkness of the woods.

Temperance's head shot up, "Aubrey!" she called out desperately.
