Specklebriar woke in the warriors den, relishing the scent of dry moss as she sat up. Her nose twitched as she flicked some lichen off of her pelt, her world coming into focus around her as she carefully picked around a clanmate or two on her way out of the den.

{the tom did no more than a grunt of acknowledgement. he had closed his eyes at the last second so dust wouldn't get in them, and now he layed on his back. he regretted not seeing how on earth could she jump in an unstable pose like that, and not only jump, but get somewhere with that jump.

waterlily's sudden attack was a bit of a surprise, but not enough to catch snowpaw off guard. he simply rolled to his feet with a spring, and observed her closer in case of another attack.}
