As his apprentice landed behind him, Fogpelt quickly lashed out with his hind legs, battering at Ripplepaw's face with his paws. While he had the silver tom disoriented, he turned swiftly and pinned him to the ground, pushing his shoulders firmly into the dirt. A crooked smirk threatened to spread itself across the foggy gray tom's maw as he let a mock growl rumble from his throat, "Good use of distraction, but that won't do you much good in an actual battle."

Dawn held back a smirk and instead smiled at the she cat "Just thought I would be friendly." He meowed "It is nice by the river, don't you think?" he moved his gaze from the she cat to the surrounding area by the river, he liked it here.
