canad was beginning to get stir-crazy, he had been in the same place for too long. he spontaneously bucked and galloped off, his tail straight out behind him. on his face was as close t a smile as he could get. his long tail fur flowed out, and his mane was billowing. he ran up to the top of the hill, stopping to feel the wind, completely oblivious to anything else around him. he looked up at the clouds, and the birds milling in the air above him. he snorted with joy, sudden happiness flowing over him, even after all that had happened in the past day. his yellow eyes had the shining sun in them, the day was beginning to cool down, his fur still slightly damp. the darkened facial features of his showed pure ecstasy. he was happy, truely happy, for the first time in a while. his herd members must think their leader insane, leaping around like a foal, but he didn't care! he trotted around a bit, holding his head high and his mane up. he was ready for anything but what was about to come face to face with him.

((him and sasha will probably have a very embarassing first meeting due to his foal-like behaivior *hehe* and sorry about famous, just i was thinking she already has a foal O.O))

Sasha's ears twitched faintly as she waited for the pretty mare across from her to respond. Truth be told she was intrigued, more then that, she missed the feeling of belonging that she had had while in a herd. But was the risk worth it? Sasha didn't think she would be able to live through another heartbreak like the one that had occurred last time she allowed herself to be vulnerable in a herd. How could she tell if this place would be any different? The horses seemed the same, the leadership seemed the same, in fact the only difference was the fact that these ones all looked different then her old herd! Letting out a soft and uncertain snort Sasha swept her tail nervously near the ground, curling it until it rested lightly against her side. It was a nervous habit that Sasha had picked up, something she did when stressed or in deep contemplation. Right now it was a definite mixture of both. At that moment the soft sound of hooves hitting the earth caught Sasha's attention, and her head snapped up, ears tilting backwards slightly in fear. Her entire body trembled, ready to run if needed, and it was only after a tense and overlong second that she regained her bearing and hesitantly relaxed. Though perhaps "relaxed" was the wrong word, it was more that she realized her situation and prepared herself accordingly. Especially when she realized that the newcomer was a stallion. Instantly her stomach clenched, like a ball of grass trampled by many hooves, and she had to fight to keep from bolting right then and there. Thankfully for the stallion, and for her actually, he seemed friendly and not threatening at all. And so with a hesitant dip of her delicate face, Sasha spoke to him in a soft voice. "Greetings. My name is Sasha, who are you?" If her voice sounded a little edgy, and it did, then she could hardly be blamed. This was not an easy thing for her to do, conversing with a stallion after what had happened to her.

The memories pushed gently at her mind, but angrily Sasha shoved them back, determined not to allow him to have any more control or influence over her, even in her thoughts. Instead she focused on the handsome stallion in front of her and waited for his answer. But before he could say anything, or Sasha could even think about anything else, a sudden influx of movement on the peripheral edge of her vision caught her attention. Pricking forward her large oval ears, the mare looked with perplexed amusement upon a frolicking brown stallion. He seemed....insane, but perhaps that wasn't a bad thing. It was hard to tell in these times, whether such insanity was a good thing or a bad thing. Sasha was curious now though, and watched the stallion intently, he had a more regal and commanding air about him, yet the way he was running to and fro like a colt indicated a lower status. Idly she wondered what his position in the herd was, it was difficult to read him, something that wasn't often a problem for Sasha. But with a snap she pulled herself back to reality. This interest in who the strange stallion was, was unacceptable. Regardless of how innocent he seemed at the moment, all males had evil within them, and she would NOT allow herself to fall into the same mistakes as last time.

canad turned in shock when he heard a soft voice next to him. a mare. "oh.. hello. my name is canad." he said, both intrigued and embarassed by this mare, she was beautiful, and he had just been prancing about like a foal. "i am the lead of the snowcap herd. you are welcome to stay..." he said, tenatively to this seemingly terrified mare. he put his head down, to make her feel more at ease. he looked at her with soft yellow eyes, thinking sasha. what a lovely name for a lovely mare... he almost kicked out at the thought he was already falling in love.

[She was actually talking to Skyrionic and would have spoke before Canad started prancing about, so it's actually not possible for him to have heard her. Plus Bandit and Skyrionic are right beside her, and I doubt Canad would just outright ignore them XD]
