After Shadow sent out hunting and border patrols, she went to go for a walk on the beach.

Pira secretly smiled and went to go walk with her leader. You and Cal sure are cute. she giggled and nudged Shadow so her paws went into the water; then she started to run down the beach playfully.

Cal; was with one of the hunting parties as well as his brother, Jake.

After Shadow laughed she noticed Callum was with Jake on a hunting patrol. "Do you want to join them Pira?"

Pira shook her head and told Shadow she had to go do something.

Cal and jake had one of those weird twin connections so they talked with their eyes. they had gone apart from the main group because the deer had been scared off by the hunters so they were all searching for them. they came across a group of five deer in a tiny clearing. 1 had a baby deer (is it a fawn or something?) 1 was preggo, 1 was a male, and one was a female that was normal. they immediately eyed the normal one.
cal; signalled to do their favorite way of hunting together. they put their muzzles to the ground and howled, so the deer would move, but they wouldn't be on their guard because they'd think that the wolves were far away
Jake; headed back to the clearing, as guessed, the deer haad headed away from the howl.
the two brothers shadowed the deer stealthily for around 10 minutes. by then the deer had picked up pace.
Jake; ran up ahead around 500 yards and stopped straight ahead of them.
Cal; waited 5 seconds and Snarled ferociously, making the deer run. he apeard o n their left, then behind them, then on their left again, then on their right. so they'd think that there were more wolves than just him.
Jake; jumped infront of them so they stopped in confusion. in their confusion, Cal sprinted and leapt athletically onto the normal doe. and bit it whilst snarling. at that moment, jake ran forward as the deer did and bit the Doe's leg so it tripped whilst the other deer ran away. they killed the doe as quickly as they could. and dragged it back to camp, which was unfortunatley a LONG way away.
by the time they'd got back it was sunset. they put the deer in the kill pile and went off for a swim to get the sweat and dirt off them.

Shadow nodded to Pira and then saw Jake and Cal walk back to camp..... Shadow thought that she could sleep in the cave with the jewels. "Cal will come looking for me. I know it.", Shadow sighed to herself.
