{Nidora} She didn't back away, she didn't even lift her head. She turned to face Meridian, who was now snarling in her face. She winced, and sank to the floor, helpless. She couldn't win. She didn't WANT to win. She felt Pinestar's stare burning through her fur. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" She repeated, pleading and crying for her life. She was going to die either way she went. Her mother would kill her for betraying her, and the Clan cats would rip her o shreds when they found out SHE harmed Stormpaw. She ran around, fleeing away from the sight of the clearing full of cats into a near bush. "I'M SORRY! I'M SO SO SO SORRY!"
{Meridian} She snorted and dug her claws into the damp ground where Nidora had cried. "No hiding, Nidora! Come get your neck split!" She hissed teasingly. She was excited for the idea of killing someone so close, making her look more powerful than ever! The ambition ran through her like blood, through her veins, through her words, through her thoughts. She laughed ferociously and padded away from the clearing.
{Shilo} He stared after Meridian before going to the bush Nidora was hiding in. He sat by it, pushing his tail through the leaves and brushing Nidora affectionately. She was forced into a battle that should have never occurred. "I apologize for Meridian's battle, and I also apologize on behalf of Nidora for harming one of your young cats severely," his gaze ran over the limp body of Stormpaw, his breathing short and shallow. "I hope you do not mind my asking of Nidora to stay here, with you, and protect her from her only kin. She is only the age of that one of there," he pointed out, nodding towards Cherrypaw, "and I, even though she is not my kin, want her to be safe." He felt Nidora stiffen. She was scared. So scared her reactions can't even be explained.
{Cherrypaw} She stared blankly at the bush Nidora was in, and that at Shilo. Emotion flooded through her, and she noticed it coming from Greyclaw, too. "I think the cat should stay," She began. "She almost killed your denmate!" The sharp reply was from Greyclaw, even though the emotion still rolled off him like waves of a ripple. She looked down at her paws. Yes! "But wouldn't we look bad towards the other Clans if we just let her go? I mean, look at Stormpaw." She flicked her tail to Stormpaw. He was even worse now. "Stormpaw!" She yowled, gathering leaves and pressing them around Stormpaw to keep him stable and comforted. "We have no choice, right?"
{Greyclaw} He had made it back to camp, but his sprains didn't matter now. This was life and death. Nidora killed by her own mother, or Nidora kept prisoner and punished by the Clan cats. The punishment sounded fairer, seeming two deaths don't make a life. "I... I second Cherrypaw's opinion."
{Stormpaw} His breathing now slowed, yet he felt strangely comfortable for his position. Was he in his nest? No, he would have died on the move to it. His feeling started coming back to him. StarClan was letting him live! He steadied to his paws. He collapsed. He felt the stares of his Clanmates' stares. At least he could feel now. His vision was starting to clear, and he could make out a tall black figure at a bush, and Cherrypaw fretting around him. She was too caring. He tried to push out a paw to shoo her away, but that took too much energy. He should just rest now, and hope StarClan will let him see another day.
