Angel flicked her ears in surprise. She wasn't expecting Dante to offer his services so quickly, That was never an obvious trait of his. To be generous with his time like that. Of course', now that he was a rogue there wasn't much he could do with his life anyways.

Shark woke and shook the hay from his pelt. He yawned and blinked a couple of times before padding out of the barn the team slept in. He scented the air and smiled, liking the scent of fresh snow fall. He padded over the sled, the sky was just beginning to brighten. He sat down for a moment to get some hay from his fur, then he turned to the sky and howled. This is what he did every morning, to wake the team and for them hustle to sled. He knew that Ana would problay be up because she was always prepared. He howled again, this time louder so if any of the team members were wandering around they could hear. He then sat down at the front of the line and waited silently with his tail over his paws.

Jasper rolled over, thinking it was like her time as a puppy. "Five more minutes." SHe muttered and kept her eyes closed. Then she flicked her ears after the second call. "Right!" She jumped up, realizing she wasn't a puppy anymore. She was a sled dog. She yawned sevearl times, chasing the sleep from her body and pelted outside. SHe crashed into a few snow banks on the way but fanilly got to her row on the sled.

Luna heard Shark. "I can't run today." she sighed. She looked down at her paw and she hoped that Shark would understand. She didn't get up. Instead, she kept still on the hay. I really want to run, but my paw is already damaged enough as it is. I can't afford to damage it even more. she thought sadly. She felt as though she was letting the team down. And to her, that didn't feel very good. A sick feeling came over Luna and she wanted to ignore it, but didn't. "What will the team think of me?" she wondered to herself.

Jasper padded over Shark, her head low. She layed down in front of him, showing respect, and hoping he wouldn't get mad. "Shark?" She asked, waiting for him to allow her to speak.

"Yes, Jasper?" Shark replyed moving his gaze from the barn to her.

"Um . . . Luna and Sundance are unable to run today . . . they both have injuryed paws." Jasper said slowly, knowing it wasn't the greatest for dogs to get hurt when training. Esically two at once.

Shark looked at Jasper, "Where are they now?" He asked, waiting to see how bad their injuries were and if they went to one of the humans for help.

"Luna is in the barn, I saw her this morning." Jasper said, "Sundance might be, but I'm not sure."

"Thank you, Jasper." Shark said flicking his to Jasper and she padded back to her place in the line. Shark sighed, but didn't let his disapointment show. He padded back to the barn at a swift pace and spotted LUna in the hay. He stood in front of her. "What happened?" He asked, not wanting any whining or anything. He just wanted the facts.

Jasper layed down and looked after Shark, hoping he wouldn't be mad at Luna.

Luna looked at Shark. "Well. Their names are Angel and Dante. Those were the two dogs that we saw yesterday. I went to take a walk and Dante needed help finding Angel, so out of the kindness of my heart I told Dante I would help him find her. As I was trying to find her, I stepped on a porcupine and got a bunch of quills stuck in my paw. After I took them out, my paw started bleeding and it got infected. I won't be able to run for a couple of days Shark" she said. I feel so guilty for letting the team down. I just hope Shark isn't angry with me she thought. Luna directed her attention to Jasper then back at Shark.

Shark didn't move or shift his gaze, "Have you seen one of the humans?" He asked her, then narrowed her eyes, "Who are these dogs?" He wondered why his team members would be hanging out with other dogs. Then he wondered if they were the wild dogs they saw the other day.
