A growl rose in throat immediatly as the cat rounded on him. "A simple 'I odn't want to talk about it.' would have been enough. No need to let the simple question get to you. I though ou may have been in one of the Clans before the fire." he growled, tail lashing and eyes brimming dangerously.

Sprucepaw gazed meekly at the warrior, relieved to find that she spoke with a gentle air, a welcoming feel to the younger cat. She let her tail drift lightly to the ground, where it lay still. "I suppose it is." she agreed, flicking her ears forwards. She studied Frostwing for a moment, letting herself relax fully. She blinked as the white she-cat's gaze returned to her, and she lifted her head up to meet her gaze, the bi-colored one to the deep teal one. At Frostwing's second question she jerked her head, not expecting it. "No..." she stated quietly. "Nothing to me, at least." Sprucepaw swiveled her head up and wondered if any of the other medicine cats had received any information from their warrior ancestors.

He shook his head apologetically. "No, you're fine." he responded with a faint, but comforting, look. It was often like this, conversations failing, but he always felt bad for the other cat. Raccoonstrike lifted his tail and gently touched it to Whitecloud's shoulder as a gesture of companionship, trying to sooth her. He didn't want her to feel uncomfortable around him, as she looked so now. "My fault." he added, a half-hearted smile appearing on his muzzle.

Skypaw nodded as her pelt ruffled it quickly went down afterwards, the she cat began to relax as the rogue's eyes began to soften. Its a long story anyways. You would be too careless to listen. I was from Rainclan if you must know." the she cat answered this time much nicer. Skypaw swished her tail along earth's floor as she stared at the former warrior her eyes were sparkling sky blue with specks of green that matched the color of earth's wonderful grass. Nature was important and so was tree, without trees there would be no oxygen and no oxygen spelled out the words as clear as a snake's rattle; d e a t h and the she cat respected that."Hey how do you know we are to careless?" said the anxious she cat as her eyes narrowed into slits at the remark. It was obvious this was a she cat who didn't take humor to rude words very kindly at all.

"Just drop it Skypaw. The quicker we get her to Eaglestar, the quicker she's out of our fur." he whispered to the she-cat who stood at his side. His eyes flashed a warning ot the rogue. "That's all I ask. Nothing more than to know which Clan. Thank you." he meowed, dipping his head to her. He did have respect for warriors, former or not, and still lived by that.

Skypaw bristled with irritation as she lashed her tail. I just wish Eaglestar would hurry and take her. the she cat thought as she turned away ignoring the she cat. Smallstep let out a growl at Skypaw. " Am I causing a problem? Maybe this wasn't worth my time, dragging my kits out of the warmth here just to carry them one by one all the way back. By the end of the day my legs are surely hurting if not they are the next day." Said the she cat as she lashed her tail. Skypaw looked at her and huffed as a small puff of mist blew out of her mouth and faded into the air. " Just sit here and wait until Eaglestar can talk to you, there's no need for you to talk." retorted Skypaw as this time a huge puff of mist flew from her mouth, but same as the last faded into the thick air.

"Skypaw. Just. Please." Loudpaw meowed, facing her, urdging her silent to leave this be and to let him handle it. He turned to Smallstep, "No, you're not. Please, just, stay here and wait till we can find our leader, Eaglestar. She'll be willing to speak with you. I'm sure she'll welcome you, especially with kits. It's not good to be out here alone with kits." he meowed, sitting her by a large tuft of grass that sat in the middle of the make-shift camp.
