Soulstar watched Phoenix. "...Snowkit?" He meowed unsure ly.

I pricked my eras, recognizing the name. I when into a flashback, remembering when I was only a newborn kit. I was only 1 quarter moons old when twolegs had captured me and Patches; at that time, Patchkit. We were kitty pets for 2 moons until they got rid of us. My new twolegs left me and I had to fend for myself; blind and clueless on how to survive. Until i received the powers of my Phoenix. I earned the tribal mark on my shoulder and my eyes turned a bright, fiery orange that even glowed lie flames. I had my sight and i was more powerful then ever. I lived in many different places; forests, fields, twoleg places, everywhere. Until I stopped in my tracks here, as i had felt something was special about this place. My sister on the other paw, had run away from her new two legs out of curiosity. She escaped into the TribalClan forest; but made a near fatal mistake. She was nearly killed by the cold chill of leaf-bare, but was rescued by a patrol. She was taken in and given the name Fernkit, for her bright green eyes. with her new name, she receive a tribal fern pattern on her chest, but no powers. I renamed my self after my beloved Phoenix, and began living in the TribalClan forest. Until I met Hummingpaw, Ghostfang, and Bluepaw.

Soulstar smiled, stepping towards her and nuzzling her like a long lost friend. "Welcome home."

I smiled lightly, touching my muzzle to soulstar's shoulder. Fernpaw walked up to me and nuzzled me. "I guess StarClan will always lead us back to where we belong," she said softly, sitting at my side. I looked around the camp, barely being able to see anything but light and dark and the difference between the ground and the sky. I sighed deeply, still grieving my Phoenix. " I guess I'll have to start getting use to being blind again..." I said quietly, wishing that I didn't have to ever be blind.

Ghostfang nudged her gently to her paws. " let's take you to Swanfeather to fix you up."

I nodded and stumbled to my paws, barely strong enough to carry my own weight.

Ghostfang nudged her onto his shoulders, and carried her gently.

Bluepaw, unhappy, followed closely behind Ghostfang. He had a frown on his muzzle, but said nothing.

Swanfeather sat in her den, organizing her herbs into what she should take and what she could leave behind.
