Pinepaw decided Thunderpaw wasn't inside of the apprentice den, even though there was a good chance she might have been. He stepped out of the cave, his paws entering the camp clearing as he spotted Thunderpaw. "Hey, Thunderpaw!" he called, racing over to her happily.

She turned " yes?" Her blue eyes focused on the tom. She smiled and gave a happy purr. " what are you doing today?" She asked " like with your mentor."

Pinepaw returned the smile. "Um, I'm not entirely sure... do you know what you're doing? Maybe we can train together...?" he suggested shyly, blushing a bit.

She watched him duck his head a little and said " sure, I'd battle ya." She smiled " but I would have to go easy,. Wouldn't want to ruin your ego." She chuckled

She tilted her head. "That cat smells differnt from us."She pointed out Wisteria.This wan't her or Greypaw's problem. "Greypaw maybe we shouldn't be involved."The she-cat felt strange around this loner.

"Alright then, bye, I guess." she muttered. It was obvious the she-cat didn't want to tell her why...but that didn't matter. Even though she was once a part of the clan... she wasn't anymore. And that meant she had to get off their territory. Swiftfoot flicked her tail slightly, "I think you should go now," she mewed.

berrypaw shrugged, "just the same as any cat feels about their mother." the she-cat lied, swallowing a bite of the prey. she hoped maplepaw wouldn't be unconvinced by her reply. after all- berrypaw wasn't the greatest liar and you could almost always tell if she was fibbing.

he nodded in agreement. "yeah, let's just go training... i'm sure swiftstar can deal with this loner by herself." he pointed out, smiling at lilypaw. "okay now, where are we going today? what do you want to do?" he asked as he headed out of camp, pushing the thought of the dangerous loner outside of his mind. if they ran into the loner they would be prepared. after all, greypaw was practically a warrior already. he would be appointed one tonight.

owlwing nodded in approval as boulderpaw joined him in the river, mimicking his movements wonderfully. "great job, boulderpaw! today we aren't venturing any deeper into the current, however, unless you really want to?" he asked. hopefully she knew it was dangerous.

ɪɴᴅᴇᴘᴛʜ
I was born in fallclan to my mother honeydove. everyone
said my father was a rogue who had wanted to join the
clan but bailed out when he got to know my mom was
pregnant with me. even though I don't care about
him, my mother did. when others were around, she
still acted her usual sweet kittypet-like self, but when
we were alone she shouted a lot and kicked and scratched
me when I didn't listen. at that time i believed kittypets
were all these super strong, crazy creatures.

I became an apprentice. at that point I was pretty much
alone. I often got into fights with one particularly mean
she-cat who always teased me. sometimes it got bloody.
I never tattled on her about the fights, I don't know why.
I hated everyone around me, especially myself. I wanted
to die so bad yet I was always too afraid to find a way.
she always teased me about that too. she said she
could kill me if i really wanted to. all i had to do was
ask. of course i didn't.

then the plague struck. a mad dog went through the camp
and bit several clanmates. after a short while they became
mad too.

everything went downhill. my mother ran away from
fallclan. then, I got in a fight with her. she said
I was carrying the foul blood because I was violent
and couldn't control my temper, so she attacked me,
she tried to kill me. she was the only one who I talked
to and even if she abused me I knew I was still alive
because it hurt. I barely got out alive myself. when
we were both tired from fighting I left her and ran
for it. I don't know what happened to her. I ran for
days and nights, until I smelled another clan. they
accepted me for who i was, but i'm still a loner.
