stormwings nuzzled his mate. "i'm going to check out the border- if i'm not home by... by sunset, i'll be visiting wilowclan." he meowed, before leaving.

"by papa!" coralkit squealed after him, before dashing to the medicine cats den, where sootstorm lay limp. she thought he was dead, which it looked like, but he was just very thin, and suffering the worst from his desease. "honeywing?!" she called desperately.

He climbed up a small tree and lept for the next one his claws barely caught it but it was enough to bring him up. He sighed in relief the young tom had gotten bigger, not much, he had gotten stronger but his speed dominated all of his other abilities.

Lotuskit chirped a farewell to her father before wandering after Coralkit.

Honeywing called over Cloudwing again, a bit more irritatedly this time, for she had called her three times now. "Coralkit, what do you think we should do?" Honeywing asked, trying to see how much the kit knew as she pried open Sootstorm's mouth. She poured more water into it.

he drank the water enviously, as if he wanted to drink a river. his fur had started to shed and it was in clumps on his pelt, and he looked terribly thin, as if.. starved.

coralkit thought for a moment. "yarrow, to get the sickness somewhat out of his system,.. juniper for his dry throat, and..." she scanned him over. "poppyseeds to help him relax?"
