Lotuskit pushed past her siblings and proudly announced, "WillowClan is spilling over with more prey than StarClan can imagine! Kits are being born by the minute and I have to make many warrior and apprentice ceremonies back at camp.. so yeah!" Lotuskit held her head high.

coralkit stayed curled up by the entrance of the nursery; looking out at her siblings. why do they want to be leaders? the medicine cat den seems more interesting. i can't get it off of my mind since i saw it that first time when skykit was injured in there. so many smells, so many plants and herbs! wouldn't it be amazing to heal your clanmates instead of causing injuries as a warrior? she gazed up at the sky before laying her head on her paws and dozing off.

stormwings sat down beside his mate. "seems the kits are having fun.'' he chuckled lightly, but turned his muzzle down towards coralkit, and looked back up at his mate. "is something wrong? is she sick?" he said in worry.

sootstorm nodded and got to his paws shakily, his legs wobbling. he suddenly looked very skinny, his ribs poking out of his chest like he was starving. his eyes were dull, which was obvious he was sick. he let out gruesome coughs and sneezes, struggling to stand up every cough.

Skykit purred with laughter. "Coralkit! Will you be my medicine cat?"

"come on!" he motioned with his tail for Coralkit to come over.

coralkit blinked her minty hazel green eyes. "no thanks." she sighed, getting to her paws. "i'm going to see the medicine cats." she meowed, trotting over to the den.
