Panic. Panic filled her mind and haunted her every step. She wasn’t a foal anymore, she was fully grown. The soft, fluffy fur she once had was gone. As the little mare slowly sauntered out into the open of the meadow she realized that she hadn’t been so frightened since she woke up that dreadful day to find her mother gone. Her mother, the one thing that meant the most to her, left her cold and alone. She refused to let herself think about that, to think about the terrible and consuming sadness. Lifting her dome to the sky she watched the cloudless blue get washed over suddenly with cascading rain. A hot sticky rain that soaked her to the bone. Out of nowhere there were horses all around her, circling and blocking her in. She watched in a paralyzing horror as they advanced on her. All at once they were atop her, smashing there heavy hooves upon her delicate body. A cry of pain escaped her maw as one landed square on her skull. With a flash Dynasty’s eyes flew open and she saw that she was alone, as always. As her heavy breathing slowed she looked over her small sorrel body and found it the same as it was when she drifted off into that horrid nightmare. It was small and slowly becoming more proportionate, yet still skin and bones from the lack of anything to eat. But it was still the bodice of a foal, and her mother was still gone. With a long sigh the little filly pushed her front pillars out from under her and pushed her weight upon them. Stepping out from under the tree, she shook out her soft coat and looked around. Her coat clung to her body with a damp stickiness that had been the rain in her dream; the horses were her own personal fear. The thought of finding other horses scared her because what if they turned on her the way they did in her dream? Her mother wasn’t here to protect her, to save her. No. I can’t. I can’t think about her. As hard as she tried though Dynasty still could not stop the emptiness and sorrow from consuming her. She stood tall on her little pillars, her head hung. With her little eyelids down over her soft brown eyes she slowly began to rock back and forth, trying to comfort herself from the empty feeling. She hated being alone, but how could she go to other horses? She dead scared they would kill her on the spot. But she had to be brave; her mother had always taught her to be brave. Swallowing her fear and the lump in her throat, Dynasty slowly let her lids flutter open and she gazed out through the forest. As every detail became clearer she realized that it was close to night fall. Sighing once more to herself, Dynasty slowly moved her slender polls forward and began to carefully navigate through the dense forest. Everywhere she stepped the tangling roots threatened to trip her up, and the sharp thorns from the bushes scratched and scraped deep in her shafts. Wincing in pain with every step, she couldn’t help but notice the crimson blood trickling down her white stockings. She wanted badly to call out in pain, but she dare not let anyone know of her presence. Biting down on her toung, the young filly ripped her leg up, squealing lightly as the thorns ripped through her skin. A low whimper seeped through her maw as she felt a lone tear trickle down her face; she had to get out of the forest. Slowly and carefully she continued to advance into what she didn’t know was the lands of another horse, Whisper’s. The little filly looked around the dark forest for a moment to make sure she was not being followed by any predators and then dropped her gaze once more to make sure she didn’t trip over the thick, knotted roots. In the distance she heard fait noises. Freezing dead still, Dynasty listened hard to the sound to determine what it was. Her audits were young and not well trained, but after living alone for over a month she easily could make the sound out to be heavy, fast breathing. As she continued to listen she heard the sounds of an animal getting up and rustling the leaves. Dynasty strained to hear, but all she could make out was that what ever it was was moving away from her. Should I follow it, or should I run? It didn’t sound like a predator; they are more quiet and stealthy in their movements. If I didn’t know any better I’d say it was a horse. This thought of realization scared her, yet sparked a curiosity that threatened to overwhelm her. Everything she was afraid of was suddenly only a small distance away from her. She wanted to run, run away from it all and hide, but at the same time she was tired of being alone, she wanted company. But what if they don’t like me, or don’t want me? She thought cautiously to herself. What am I to do then? Finally she managed to man up the courage and strength to push aside her fear and continue forward. She moved hastily and with clumsiness. Because she wasn’t paying much attention to where her feet landed anymore, she soon found herself tripped up and headed to the ground. With a soft thud, the little sorrel filly landed on the tangling roots and a small bed of thorns. Those little thorns pierced through the soft skin on her belly and raked long lines into it as she rose onto unsteady feet. Now in more pain then before, she groaned and moved more slowly this time, ducking under the pines’ low hanging branches and stepping high over the undergrowth. The cuts made by the thorns stung with every move she made and she longed to find a place free of them and free of the roots. Retched forest. She thought in annoyance to herself. She was frustrated that she had tripped up because she was in such a rush to get out of here and follow the sounds of the other horse. She didn’t even know if the horse would like her! As she carefully kept going through the forest she didn’t realize how close she had gotten to the forests edge. When she lifted her gaze for a moment she saw an opening in the tree line. The sudden hope she felt was smashed by fear and a hot fleeting panic that made her eyes widen with terror as she heard the sounds of more than just one horse. She could make out clearly now the sounds of horses courting and playing. Dynasty just stood, she was paralyzed by her fear and couldn’t move a muscle as she realized that the horse she was following had lead her straight to a herd of horses. How could I be so stupid! How could I forget that horses live together? All this time alone I guess made me forget. A soft and almost unauditable sigh escaped her lips. She was curious and longed to see what lied at the forests edge, but she was dead scared that as soon as she stepped out of the forest she would be attacked. So there she stood, frozen solid with fear. With her eyes closed once more she slowly began her soft rocking movements. But she couldn’t be comforted or calmed. She could feel her pulse rising, she felt hotter and soon there was a small sweat breaking out along her neck and the inside of her legs. In her head raged a small battle fought between her overwhelming curiosity and desire not to be alone, and every instinct in her body telling her to run from the unknown. Lightning fast, her eyelids shot open and she moved with swift assurance. Carefully she tred out to the very edge of the trees, her little frame still remaining hidden amongst the huge trees. Dynasty was aw struck, the landscape was so beautiful and it mesmerized her. Her little lips parted and a quiet gasp escaped them. Before her soft brown orbs behold rolling hills of soft green grass, blow back and forth by a gentle breeze. In the distance Dynasty could see 4 horses in the meadow, and then the one closer to her, whom she guessed she had been following. Her body began to tremble with fear as she looked over every horse there. There was a stallion within a small group of three mares and when she looked him over all she saw was his sheer size and all the muscles that spread out beneath his fur. He was obviously strong and powerful and had claim on those mares. She had never really been around a stallion, let alone any horse this huge, they were all huge! She had been around her mother who was a pony that stood at roughly 13.3, and a few other ponies here and there. But never had she been in the same area of a horse that stood so tall. All of a sudden she was so terrified and wanted to be safely nestled against her mother. But the little runt was all alone in this world. Dynasty finally tore her eyes of the stallion and looked over the mares. One of them was black but had white legs and was also quite tall compared to herself. Her little orbs flickered to the next mare, this one a simple chestnut, but still tall and sturdy. Finally dynasty’s eyes stet upon the horse closest to her. It was a mare, and a spotted one at that. The mare stood looking out into the meadow, unaware that Dynasty was watching her, or so she thought. The filly was beginning to shake harder and she could feel a lump rising in her throat. She wanted nothing but to be comforted fight at this moment, but no one was at her side to comfort her. Very slowly she outstretched her right front leg and with that, pulled herself out of the forest. There she stood, a little sorrel filly with white stockings and bald face pattern, now nothing but skin and bones. She looked at all the tall, beautiful, well fed horses before her and felt out of place. She was a runt of pony and terrified that they would hurt her. With her tail tight to her rump and her legs buckling as a sign of fear, she very quietly whinnied, unsure if she should be making her presence know or not. Her teeth chattered and clanked together quietly with her constant shaking. Again she whinnied, but louder this time, feeling so alone and scared. How can I do this? I just want to be safe and loved. She hadn’t felt this way since her mother had disappeared. She only wanted love and safety and comfort. Would she be taken in here? She didn’t know, but what she did know was that she had just made her presence known. What happened next would depend on what the horses thought of her. One of her little audits swiveled back listening to the sound of horses in the forest, she was trapped where she stood. Please like me, please like me! She thought helplessly to her self. Her soft brown pools were glistening with terror as she looked out at the 5 large horses. Dynasty stood, waiting at the forest’s edge, cowering in fear of what might happen.

((Heheheheh Willows in that :) Thats really long, I think you win, lol))

Willow stood quietly with her friends. She stomped her heavy legs getting a few flys to go away and swished her tail as a warning to them. She bit a few horse fly's on her belly and lifted her nose to the cool and quieting summer air. She smelt something...Diffrent. She looked around but didn't see any thing. "Whisper." She spoke quitely to him. "Do you smell that?"
Ha, haha, haha, ha ha, haha

"Smell what?" He mused softly while lifting his head to look at Willow. His towers picked up on a soft whinny from the forest and he turned his pround dome to look at the noise maker. He saw Dream in all her glory and then further back he saw a little filly who was nothing but skin and bones. He figured the little one had made the noise but made no move towards her, seeing as she shook with fear. She was cowering against the tree line all alone with no mother. This lead him to the assumption that she was an orphan. Softly he nickered to her, not wishing to scare her he dropped his head down to graze after that.
