Soulheart smiled as the two apprentices went and said farewell to the fallen warrior. She followed behind, touching her nose to his back. "Goodbye, Flamefoot," the she-cat murmured. "You were a great warrior," she added, before taking a step back and bowing her head momentarily in respect to her fallen clanmate.

Greyflower hesitantly left her brother's side, belly swaying as she gave her respects to Flamefoot. She would not stay the night, a brief farewell was all she felt was required of her. Cautiously, she padded towards Morningstar, confronting the grey-and-white she-cat for the first time in moons. "Morningstar?" she mewed, her voice shaking. "I'm not sure if you remember, me, but it's Greyflower."

Sootface watched as the cats of the clan said goodbye to Flamefoot. It was always a somber event when one of the warriors died. It seemed to remind the clan that no one was safe from the dangers that prowled the forest, and that even the most wily warrior could fall. He padded up to Flamefoot's body, giving the tom a friendly lick on the ear. "Goodbye, Flamefoot," he muttered. "Now you hunt with Starclan."
