As the approached camp, Darkwing scented Skyspirit coming in their direction to exit camp. She hurried into the clearing, putting her prey on the freshkill pile. Then she turned and looked at her apprentice, "Spottedpaw, your work is done for today. Go get some rest." she mewed before trotting at a fast pace towards the exiting medicine cat, "Skyspirit!" she called out, "Wait up!"

Skyspirit turned and looked at Darkwing, "Sure." she said, waiting for the other she-cat to catch up to her. When Darkwing reached her, she resumed walking and headed out of camp, "So, is there something you need?" she asked. Darkwing shook her head, "Just to talk." she replied. Skyspirit nodded, "So, tell me what you're thinking."

Spottedpad dipped her head and placed her prey on the freshkill pile. She went to the apprentice den and entered slowly before going to her nest. She lay down and lay her head on her paws, wishing she had some company.
