"hi darkpaw."meowed blackpaw,^he all of a sudden felt hot and embarrassed,^he gave his drenched pelt an embarsied lick,and prayed to starclan that she didn't notice his missing tail fur

"Oh. Hey!" Darkpaw looked up at him. "Have you seen Specklepaw? I cant seem to find her..."

"I dunno.I just got back from fishing"^he said pointing to his tail"and got mawled by a catfish"

"Where?!" Darkpaw yowled then turned to Blackpaw and touched her soft nose to his. She turned around and waited for Wolffeather to reply

"I smell her scent here!"she said thrusting here nose near a dark cavity behind the nursery"itsstrongest here!"

Darkpaw ran over to her. The place was small...probably small warriors and apprentices could hide there, she looked around, her head in the sky searching for scents
