As she headed out she began to speak "Lightpaw and I want another opinion, a second set of eyes." she said. "I figured someone else could give him another perspective. He's doing great in his training! But I want to make sure he's not limited to just what I know. We're going to do some battle practicing." she explained. Glancing back at Lightpaw she nodded to him "You ready?" she asked.

Riverbriar frowned, she seemed to grow serious in an instant "Ah.. I'm sorry about that. I was just joking." she said. "I know how you feel.. I mean Falconblaze is great! I think we could be really great friends! I'm just not sure we're compatible is all.. I don't think that's really either of our faults but I think we just want different things maybe?" she sighed and shook her head. "I was hoping for someone else.. I mean no one in particular but.. I mean Ashstar and his mate are so happy.. I just wanted something like that you know? Sootnose followed after Silverstorm not bothering to look around camp as they went. She wasn't really looking for anyone, her brother was with his mate after all. She sat down curling her tail around her paws. The smaller black and white she-cat looked at Silverstorm and shook her head. "No no! You first! Take it as my apology for waking you up." she replied.

But she had no time to silently berate herself as Sunfeather was already moving on. "Oh!" she said excitedly before the scent hit her. "er.. This place.. um.." was it rude to say it stunk? She would have blurted it out in front of Firewillow but.. Sunfeather was the senior medicine cat shouldn't she be more proper in front of him? She glanced at him curiously trying to see if he'd noticed her strange pause. "It's rather interesting!" she settled on quickly.

"Yeah I agree, let's focus on that." he said before he turned his head glancing at the other apprentice again "So.. are we going to go over there? Cinderpaw worriedly glanced over to where Dappledheart and Ashstar were gossiping. Are they talking about me? I must be in big trouble, then I'll never get my warrior name. Now feeling worried and a little downcast she quickly grabbed a thrush and slipped into the apprentices' den. She settled down in her nest and tore out a piece of the thrush, she spat the feathers out and pulled out as many as she could. After eating the thrush she scooped up all the feathers and walked over to where Dappledheart and Ashstar were speaking.
"Ashstar, would you like some feathers to line your nest with?"
Questioned Cinderpaw as her mouth was muffled by the feathers.

Whitestrike surveyed the camp from where he was lounging by the warriors' den. I wonder where Honeytuft is right now. He wondered where his assigned mate currently was. He watched Cinderpaw walk over to Ashstar and offer him feathers to line his nest with. He then turned his head to see Duskpaw and Kestrelthorn. I hope Cinderpaw gets her warrior ceremony. He remembered how lively and excited he had been when he received his warrior name.

Ashpaw's ear flicked as she nodded her head in agreement, Ashpaw blinked a couple of times as she thought about his question on how she was doing.
