He was curious in how she came to the territory. But that would have to wait. He had to focus on hunting now. Since more kits were coming in, such as Ivysong's, they had to keep the fresh-kill pile well in stock. And the apprentice felt energy flow throughout his body as he thought about feeling the wind through his thick pelt as he chased a rabbit, using his wings to help him run faster. He looked up thoughtfully at a large tree they passed by, and he knew by the start he could climb it without wings. Oakpaw had strong legs, so he could easily climb it.
