"What do you mean?" She said, her voice cracking.

" What have I done to lose you? What have I done, what have I done to rip your heart apart not once, but twice. I'm a failure Mothflight, not worthy of anyone's love, let alone yours. I've hurt you one too many times. I've gone off the edge, and here's no saving me. I hate myself Mothflight, and everyone around me hates me too. Starclan's full, but the Dark Forest won't have me, so I'm stuck here with cats who have nothing but hatred in their hearts for me," said Shadow, breaking down the walls, and letting the emotions that had been cooped up inside him for many moons. He let it go.

[Toxic Nightshade]

She jumped out of the tub.
"I love you Shadowfur and I always have! I'm sorry I lost you, and I don't want to lose you again! Please don't leave me Shadowfur!" She said,"Not this time! I'm so scared and I don't know what to do!!"

[Royallioness]

" How can you still call me a lover? I'm nothing but a piece of scum. I love you, but.... I can't go back to the clans. There's something else I haven't told you. This... this was my home, all those years ago. They owned me, and I was named Blackie. They had a cat who looked like you named Sunny. The only reason I was a warrior was that my dad threatened to kill the leader if I wasn't made one. The clans hate me, but play along. I hope you can see past that Mothflight, and I know you can. Please, just give me one more chance. If I leave you, only Starclan knows what will happen. I'll tear myself apart for it. I can't lose you, I've lost so much, and have little to lose except you. Mothflight, I love you."

"I love you too," she whispered, twining her tail around his and brushing against his pelt.

Shadow proceeded to groom his mate. Now, he wouldn't do this with any other cat, because he has slight trust issues, but he knew that Mothflight was a special cat, willing to break the warrior code for true love. He truly felt safe, even though they were at the mercy of the two legs. The two leg queen opened the bathroom door suddenly, took of Shadows collar, picked up both of them, and put them outside. Without hesitation, they both ran off. " By the way, call me Shadow," he said. " Follow me. I found shelter, and the dreams don't happen. Get the kits and meet me here at midnight, if you dare," he said with a cheeky grin. " If and when you cross the thunder path, make sure there are no monsters coming," and with that he was across the thunder path and running towards the abandoned two leg shop.

She sighed and padded toward camp with catmint. She'll have a hard time gettin the kits from the queen who was suckling them, she loved them to death as if they were her own. When she reached the camp she went straight to the nursery.
"May I have the kits?" Mothflight asked the purring queen.
"Why?" She asked, worry in her gaze.
"I, medicine cat stuff."
"But why do you kneed them all? You can only have one apprentice, and the kits aren't old enough."
"I kneed them because I'm going to the Moonstone with them. I have to talk to Starclan with them."
"Oh alright," she said, nuzzling them over.
"Thank you," said Mothflight grabbing each of them and padding out of camp.
She got to the spot where "Shadow" wanted to meet her.

Shadow saw Mothflight across the thunder path. " On the count if three run across. 1...2...3!!!!" he yelled, as Mothflight ran over with the kits. " Follow me," he said as he led them to what he had recently discovered was an abandoned two leg shop. He had made two large nests for him and Mothflight. In the bigger nest were three smaller nests, one for each of the kits. Inside the nest was a fat rabbit, some herbs he had found near by, and a small flower he thought Mothflight would like. He had also gotten some more catmint from the two leg garden, and tore open the toy mouse and took out the catnip. He showed Mothflight and asked her, " What do you think? Are those herbs good because there's a huge shrub just out back. I took some other herbs from the twoleg garden. Oh, and I thought that flower was pretty, and it reminded me of you."

"Oh Shadowfur, it's wonderful. I love you. I can't stay," she admitted, tears rolling down her face. She loved him and that he cared.
