SunClan's Story [New Thread]

Holliclaw yowled for appleleaf who had cared for her earlier she walked back into the medicine cat den to grab her kits it took 4trips to get them all outside. She laid down with them under the shade of a bush, she nosed the kits close for them to nurse again. She scaned the area with wide eyes to make sure it was safe.

[Sable.]

"Is something wrong?" Appleleaf cantered over to Hollyleaf who had manged to move herself outside of the medicine cat den.

The tom's ears flicked at something touching his side. "Hello, Appleleaf." he mewed with his eyes still closed, catching the cat's scent. He winced slightly as she began to lick the cuts but relaxed as the strokes soothed the damaged skin. He lifted his head and opened his bright chartreuse eyes. "Hi." he meowed to the she-cat standing before him, who had just asked his name. "Nice to meet you, Mintsplash." he gave her a friendly smile, dipping his head. The young tom watched Appleleaf race outside, and hoped that Hollyclaw was alright.

Mintsplash offered Raccoonstrike her magpie. "Would you like some?" she mewed as she saw the troubled look in his eyes. 'Hopefully, this will make whatever is wrong with him better' she thought, slightly sympathetically. She drops the magpie just in front of his paws.

"Thank you Appleleaf." he dipped his head with a twich of his whiskers. He had enough marigold and and cobwebs to make them a while if no one else got wounded and they could find pleanty of wet moss if they stayed by the river. "Spiderpaw! Come help me sort these herbs before we set off again." he called to his brown tabbied apprentice.

Frostwing followed after Moonsong and Cloudstrike, glad that the fluffy she-cat had finally arrived. She must have been sleeping in or something. Flicking her long, fluffy, feather-like tail, Frostwing wondered if they'd catch anything today. She also wondered if Eaglestar would assign mentors to the current apprentices. It would be a good way to get other cats bonding. Other cats, not herself. Frostwing was shy, and wasn't sure if she should be getting an apprentice. She's probably be a nervous disappointment.

Sniffing the air, Frostwing's nose twitched and she glanced around. She smelt prey, all right. Looking back at the hunting patrol, she flicked her tail in notion and then padded through the bushes, keeping herself low to the ground. She wanted to catch something, at least one thing. Otherwise she'd be bummed.

[Sable.]

"I'll be back to you in a moment." Appleleaf said to the queen, noticing that Raccoonstrike was up. "Oh hello." She said to the mint eyes warrior standing next to Raccoonstrike. "Is it still feeling stiff?" she asked the dark tom lying my her paws.

Raccoonstrike hesitated, not wanting to take her prey. But then she dropped it in front of him, so he gave a slow nod. "Thank you." he mewed graciously to Mintsplash. He looked over as Appleleaf appeared. "It's a lot better." murmured the mottled dark tom. He decided to test sitting up. Cringing slightly, he slowly pushed his front legs up. The wound twinged a bit, but once he stopped moving it felt fine. "I am so bored." he commented lightly. Then, remembering the magpie, he took a quick bite so as to not appear rude.

[Sable.]

"There sin't much to do when your injured aye?" Appleleaf joked with him. It wasn't infected, and looked like it was healing nicely yet she felt inclined to stay and tlak with him anyway. Hollyclaw didn't seem to need her at the moment. "It should be cleared up in a few days." She said to the tom who was gulping up the magpie. "Hello mintsplash, I'm Appleleaf." She greeted the other cat.

Mintsplash purrs as Raccoonstrike takes a bite, satisfied that he took it. She didn't notice his hesitation, so she took that he was glad to take the magpie. "Hello, Appleleaf!" she meows, recognizing the same RainClan scent as herself. "Well, I'll leave you now...I don't want to interrupt you and Appleleaf." she says quietly, but smiling. She pads off and starts again with exploring the SunClan camp that she was still unfamiliar with. She'd never get used to the different scents of StoneClan, FireClan, and RainClan. "How am I going to find my way around?" she murmurs to herself.
