Kahen nearly laughed, rattlesnakes were nothing to her, "He didn't do it right then and if it tries to bite, you just stand stock still, then it gets confused because all snakes, they focus on movement and smell and many places say that if you suddenly stand stock still, then the snake can't figure out whether you're an animal or a tree, so they don't attack, then you can rip their heads off, it's not that difficult, once you'e done it at least ten times, you get practised at it." she told him, not heeding his warning whatsoever.

(That is actually true, I've heard it from many snake experts)
(I don't find a species like a rattlesnake that scary, I mean, they're not the most poisonous snake in the world, plus they're very timid so run off anyway...)

(Duh, I know that, I'm not stupid! That's why the snake gets confused because the body heat tells them that you're a human or an animal, but then it also gets the information that you're not moving at all suddenly, then they get confused for 5-20 secounds as to whether it should classify you as a plant or an animal/human because of the mixed information that they've recieved)
(I don't mind snakes, they're ok, I don't know why people can get so scared of them, I've held venomous snakes before, though albeit they were tame. )
( Oh, but I don't like having an aggressive species of very poisonous snake about eight centimetres from my foot, in the middle of nowhere, about three hours drive to the nearest bit of civilisation and a lot longer than that to the nearest hospital, like eight hours away from a hospital...)
(That is scary, which is understandable really)
(lol, I think you'd enjoy that life, but why couldn't you marry some guy who loves snakes, then you could still hoard them? But they take a lot to care for in captivity, you'd have to get really good at it, plus have a fair amount of money to pay for all the stuff they need...)


Kahen sighed, she bared her teeth at the rattlesnake, growling loudly, the threatened snake hissed, arching up, then quickly turned and raced into the grass, Kahen ran quickly, catching up to Razli, "So which way do ou think we should go now?" she asked him, as the scent of the flower maiden was starting to fade.
