Loudpaw stumbled backward a bit, shaking his head as he strightened up. He looked in shock at Skypaw, freezing up in nerviousness. Since the fire and his scars, he'd become closed up and shy, afriad he'd scare anyone who say him. The ginger tom quickly shrank back and looked down, doing his best to hide the horrific and large scars at marked his tabbied pelt. His deep amber eyes remained focused on his white paws, occasionally glancing up. He swallowed hard and silently, the fur on his white throat moving as he did so. Loudpaw'd drawn his tail close to his body, trying to help hide hi scars.

Olive nearly shrieked when she heard a rustle of leaves in the clearing in front of her. She scrambled into a hunting position, scattering crisp leaves everywhere. The prey, she now identified as a bird, gave an alarm call and flew away. Olive flinched. What's wrong with me? I've seen cats hunt, yet I can never seem to get it right! she almost wailed out loud, I miss my housefolk! Taking in a deep breath, she padded back twards the two-leg place, stomach empty; and ready for a mid-day nap. She dragged herself over to her two-leg's old home. New two-legs had moved in, yet she still slept in the shrubs of the yard, not able to bear sleeping anywhere else; even when the new two-legs yowled at her and threw rocks. It was her home.

Olive's eyes fluttered open. She flexed her claws, and stood up. A chill shot down her spine as the cold air weaved through her fur. It surely was near leaf-bare! She stretched her weary legs, almost forgetting how sore she was due to her overwhelming hunger. She scrambled over the fence, and started padding down the two-leg place path. Trying to keep her senses alert, she pricked her ears and raised her snout in the air. There was a faint scent of another cat, but she didn't pay much attention to it. No food. She continued wandering aimlessly on the streets, searching for food of any sort.

Noël carefully crept forwards, eyes pinned on the sparrow. It looked up from where it pecked at the scattered birdseed, and the kittypet froze. Luckily, her mottled pelt hid her, and the unsuspecting bird went back to its meal. She grinned, and in a flash, pounced. The bird let out a shrill cry, and was quickly silenced. Noël stood, licking her lips. A cold breeze ruffled her fur, and out of habit she looked up to scent the air.

Cherryleaf ventured off away from the clan with a soft yawn as she shook out her ginger and whtie fur. She smiled, gladd to be able to stretch her aching limbs as she wondered around.

Wooly continued to pad through the territory, her light grey tortishell fur even more tangled than it had been when she first started following the burnt Clans. Her eyes were bright as she made her way through the long stalks of grass. She'd followed closely, at a safe distance. She jumped slightly as a bird charged at her, snatching a few of her hairs for it's nest. She hissed in annoyance at the bird, slashing at it. She lashed her tail a few times, continuing on.

Cherryleaf perked her ears softly, hearing sound in the distance as she followed it silently. She blinked as she drew closer, a strange scent catching her nose as she blinked, it was cat and female, but was it her clan?

Olive's head jerked up when she heard the cry of a bird. Her heart pounding, she lifted her snout high in the air, and opened her mouth. Her scent glands detected that same cat scent... and... could it be? Fresh-kill! She dashed foward, skidding at every turn of the cold two-leg path. Her mouth watered as she got closer to the smell. A grey, furry shape came into veiw, it's nose in the air, and hunched over a dead sparrow. Too hungry and desperate to be careful, she tackled the grey creature.

"Stupid grasses! Stupid clumpy fur!" the matted she-cat hissed in annoyance, pulling herself free of yet another bush and leaving behind a large tuftl of fur. She glanced back again, hissing at the bush before padding forward again, tail still lashing. Stupid grasses! Why did these darned Clan cats have to go this way. I'm sure there was another way to where ever they're going! Wooly thought bitterly.
