Gooseheart looked over at his den mate. " Want me to go get an apprentice for that?" He asked.
(Teehee! Yeah, I've never really made an elder before, so, I thought, why not?
Also, please excuse any forgotten spaces here andthere, only half of my spacebar works. ._. )
Lightsnow scratched her ear. "Yes, that would be great! I don't know where these things keep coming from!" She laughed. "I suppose they like stinky old cats, huh?"

Olive
Loner || ♀
Status: Hungry
Olive's tabby fur fluffed out against the bitter breeze of up-coming leaf-bare. Her face twisted in dismay as her stomach barked for it's breakfeast. She had two choices: One, either walk up to a two-leg nest and beg for a scrap, or two, try her luck hunting in the nearby woods. Her paws ached terribly, but she was longing for a nice, plump mouse. She shifted her paws, then veered to the right. The mouse would have to wait for another time; her paws were sore. Stretching her legs and grooming her fur, she prepared to earn some kitty-pet food. Trying deperately not to think of the tempting smells from the forrest, she tried to spy a a two-leg with a kitty-pet's nest. I probably couldn't catch anything anyways... she tried to convince herself. Olive stretched her icy blue eyes wide and puffed out her fine fur. She tilted her ears back sadly, and let out a long mrowwwwww. With no answer, she mewed again, and again, then scratched the wood of the nest. No two-legs. No food. She muttered something inaudiable to herself, then padded twards the forrest. How was she suppost to catch anything with her loud, clumsy paws? She couldn't catch a mouse if it hopped right on her nose! Well, it didn't matter, she would try anyways. She stalked into the forest, and waited to catch some kind of scent. Let's hope I get lucky and find a nice fat shrew. And soon!

Noël slipped through the streets, her silky fur fluffed up against the cold. She didn't like winter much, even now that she did have a warm home to return to. Everything just seemed so...dead, the trees dark and skeletal. She wondered if that was why her two-legs brought a tree inside each year, right around the middle of winter. Sleeping, warm underneath it, brought back fuzzy memories of her summer kithood. She was tempted to head back inside, for even if the tree wasn't there yet it was warm, but her growling stomach kept her prowling the streets. There was food at home, of course, but she'd never quite lost the taste for a good mouse. She hoped there were still some about.

Raccoonstrike dropped his tail and turned away from the medicine cat's den, where his poor hurt apprentice lay. Such a disappointment, such a wreck of his first day as a mentor. He knew it wasn't his fault, but it still was sad to see what had happened. The tom flicked his ears and stepped away, knowing that lurking about wouldn't help Duskpaw. He could at least go and worry someplace else. With a soft sigh the shaggy dark tom plodded through the grass, his eyes drifting around but not really noticing anyone. He paused and sniffed, watching for a moment some of his Clanmates move among the tall stalks. Then he continued, just walking, not aiming anywhere, not paying attention to his surroundings. It wasn't a surprise when he found himself almost walking into another, and he quickly backed up, ears upright as he gazed at the white-furred she-cat (Whitecloud). He frowned, not recognizing her. "Sorry, wasn't watching." he meowed, dipping his head to her.

Whitecloud turned and sat up,The queen giggled at Racoonstrike for his clumsiness then her 'motherly instincts' new that Racoonstrike was upset. She quickly remembered his hurt apprentice and decided to console him “Racoonstrike,It wasn't your fault. Mistakes happen.Your a strong,handsome Tom and you will find success in mentoring Duskpaw”She spoke calmly and licked his forehead in a 'Dont worry' way.She smiled at him with caring eyes

For a moment the mottled tom didn't know what the she-cat was talking about, until she mentioned Duskpaw's name. He blinked, wondering how to respond when he didn't even know what her name was. He nearly jumped back at her lick, confused and hesitant from her touch and the way she watched him. He shuffled his paws and continued to watch her. "Oh, er, thanks." he managed to mew, his chartreuse gaze flitting from her eyes to his paws. With a slightly apologetic glance he looked her full in the face. "I don't even know your name...would you please enlighten me?"
