Ghostfang scented Phoenix and Bluepaw, and bound out of camp. "Phoenix!"

Wolfpaw growled. "You too?"

"Wolfpaw is permanently a dog because he lost his powers while he was a dog," Bluepaw meowed. "It is not the same with you."

"But it must be!" i said, almost yowling. "That phoenix is a part of me! I"ll die without it!" I looked over at olfpaw, anger in my eyes. "It is my phoenix! That is the only phoenix alive, and It was a part of me! I was the only phoenix alive." I growled, my claws unsheathed.

He sometimes forgets to but head before heart, and struggles when faced with decisions, and often worries about them before and after he has made the call.}
