"That'd be nice." He said. "Maybe some hunting in the forest together?" Eel asked. He was ecstatic on the inside that the pretty molly had returned his affections, but chose not to show it. He didn't want to scare her off.

Lark nodded her head. "The Tribe deemed it that I was too scrawny to be picked up by them and saved, so they left me on the beach that I washed up on." A snarl began to form on her face. "I took revenge by working my way into the clan, and I attacked one of the warriors who had overlooked me that day. I had hoped she would've died, but her cowardly soul clung onto life. She mocked me for the splotch of black on my forehead, so I took my revenge on her." Lark's claws sank into the sand.

Gale's ears pricked when he heard shrieking nearby, looking over his shoulder. He noticed Fading and Little haven't a little of a stand-off, but Beacon stepped in between them fast. Sighing with relief, he padded over to his nest, where he crashed onto his belly. That's when the tom curled up in a ball and closed his eyes, drifting into a light sleep.


✭ Spirit that Whispers to Stars (Spirit) ✭

Spirit had a small struggle with keeping up with Tempest; running wasn't particular a strong suit of hers. Her legs were fairly short for her long body, making her not the most speedy nor did it allow for her to have that much stamina. Holding Leaf by his scruff and trying not to swing him at the same time was added onto things. Nonetheless, she tried her best to hide her struggles from her mate- the last thing she wanted him to do was slow down on something he was so excited about just for her. Yet she could admit, she was grateful for a brief break when the voice of another she-cat spoke up.

She gently set Leaf down and allowed herself to catch her breath, watching Firelight with slight distrust and slight interest. Spirit was certainly impressed by how easily and gently Tempest spoke with the outcasts by now, even though he was so rigid toward them in the beginning. She didn't fully trust them either, but he was quite mature when they approached him. That, among many other things, made her realize how lucky she was to have a mate like him.

Oil paused, considering her question briefly. He was hesitant to say yes, as he might seem too soft, at the same time, he had a feeling saying no would lead to an angry she-cat on his heels. "Be my guest." He finally said, padding forward slowly, making it easier for her to catch up when he stood. As he walked, his mind was racing, but his emotionless-as-ever face gave way no thought. He was questioning his choice of joining Shadow; no doubt that Oil was expendable and unimportant, it would be no surprise if Shadow turned around and betrayed him. That was the world of rogues, after all. He sighed softly, hesitated, then spoke up again. "What... What was the tribe like before Shadow?" He asked, sounded slightly embarrassed as he did. There was no doubt he now looked soft in the eyes of this tribe cat now.

Seagull nodded. "Will do, I'll hurry." As fast as a cat with a bad leg could manage, he ran out of camp. He was already sore from carrying a cat from the cliffs to camp, but adrenaline seemed to keep him going. After spending some time searching for marigold and cobwebs, he returned to camp with a stick with cobweb spun onto it, and a mouthful of marigold. He set it down carefully in an open space of the surgeon's den, raising his head to look at Rain. "Is this an alright amount, or do you need more?"

With long strides, Queen Anne managed to quickly return to her den, a mouse clutched in her jaws. She slipped inside the entrance to her home, then after circling a few times, laid down on her mossy nest. She began eating her meal slowly, almost as if savoring it, and occasionally spared some glances to the entrance. One could never be too sure when someone [or something] would decide to pay her a visit.

Jackal pretended to pout in a dramatic fashion. "Was that sarcasm? I'm hurt, I thought you were having a good time." He turned around with a soft "woe is me," head held high as he started heading toward shore. "So be it, I suppose we can just end the fun here." Despite these words, he couldn't hold back the grin on his face.

Beacon's attention was snagged by two cats. Little, who was shrieking at Spark, who stood calmly as the queen did so. She considered whether or not it'd be smart to hop in, then rushed over to the two she-cats, stepping in between them. "You two, what's this about?" She glanced between the two with confusion in her deep green eyes. Little did always seem to have a temper, but she had never seen her this mad. Her gaze switched to Fading. "Did... Did you really kill Shadow?" She asked in a shocked tone, doing her best to hide the sound of hope in her voice for Little's sake, and perhaps for Beacon to save her own hide.

Rose felt her heart leap in her chest when he agreed to it, perfectly calm, without hesitation. "That sounds great." She kept her voice as steady as she could, but currently, she felt like leaping gleefully around the deck. But she soon suppressed this joy, reminding herself that this was probably a platonic thing. Either way, spending time with Eel would probably be the most exciting thing she has done in moons.

Crystal followed her gaze to the shore, deciding to paddle toward the shore as well. He didn't want to push her limits, especially since she seemed so uncomfortable in the cold. He hauled himself out of the lake, shaking off his short pelt. "I've done this many times, and yet, I haven't gotten sick yet." He said proudly, then shook off his fur once more. Hopefully, he'd be all dried off by the time they went back to camp.

The pale silver and white tabby she-cat soon turned to Seagull, surprised that a field medic would be in here, but she would take all the help she could get at the moment. "Yes, this is enough. Thank you, Seagull."

The cream lynx point she-kit flattened her ears, hearing Little. She turned before nudging Squeak with a bright smile. "We should go find Night now."

Ice looked at Sky. Woah, she's good. She can pick things up quick, Ice thought as she smiled lightly. "Yeah, that's true. Well, let's just take a few steps back and go over what we have so far."

"So, we now know that Little's fur sample and the small streak of fur match, which means that we should assume that the tuft of fur that hid Little's small fur streak is Moon's. Shadow was killed by Fading, which is a fact that we just learned. I think Shadow, Little, and the rogue group were all in on Moon's murder. But the one question needs to be answered: Why Moon out of everyone? The motive was simple for Little to kill somebody - she was angry at Tempest for not "acknowledging" her hard work. So why Moon? Why a helpless, innocent kit?" Ice looked back at Flower. "You can go and change Little's nest to avoid suspicion. Don't worry. Sky and I won't move an inch from this spot." She smiled at the young apprentice, proud of what she had accomplished today.

after a long moment, smoke stood up and shook her fur out, letting the sand in her coat wash out. she should sharpen her claws- and what better way than to use the tribe's trees? purring softly at her own plan, smoke turned and trotted onwards, towards the end of outcast island. as she got off the island, she realized she still remembered the tribe territory almost perfectly. she slipped off at the edge of their territory, mapping out the best path to the trees. she could get a drink at the freshwater lake on her way!
