It's fairly safe to say that at this point, Rosepaw has become paranoid. Her once sweet and fun personality has been squashed by that fear. She always sticks near the walls of the camp and refuses to leave with anyone but Briarstar, or sometimes Nightpaw or Minnowpaw. Sometimes.
When she exits the apprentice den and hears Minnowpaw's cry, she takes (in her mind) a chance and runs to him. "Minnowpaw, what's-"
And then she sees the corpse.

@Static - i think you forgot to appoint clearpaw to medicine cat ^^
Clearpaw didn't know what to think anymore. Ever since the death of Foxswift, she needed to take on a new role. Medicine cat. And she was the only one too. The apprentice hadn't even finished her studies, and yet she needed to go on and fill Foxswift's spot. Yes, she was sad, but oddly enough, she still felt a wave of tranquility every day, despite the hectic exiles and kills. The she-cat didn't know why, though. Perhaps she had faith that they would get the killer someday.

The leader once again strode out of his den, exhausted by a sleepless night. Images of bloodstained claws and moon-white fangs stalked his mind, the same again and again, haunting the leader until he was no longer the proud and calm leader he'd once been. The dawn that broke across the sky reminded him sickingly of blood, oozing out over the undisturbed blue. Upon spotting Rosepaw, he smiled weakly at her, despite the lack of one in his eyes. She'd stuck close to him ever since the murders and Brairstar could not blame her.
He wasn't shocked to see a corpse, he'd reached the point where it'd be shocking if the killer was ever unrooted. ''Oh my...'' he mumbled, shaking his head. Yet another tragedy.

Birchclaw woke with a shock, and went outside. He closed his eyes when he realized that Sunchaser, the last warrior, was dead. He padded over to Briarstar, and nudged him.
"Briarstar," he said. "We need to hunt. We can... We can... We can do it later." Birchclaw paused, saddened but not horrified anymore by the thought of exiling yet another of his clanmates. The recent events had left him strung out, almost devoid of emotion. It was the only way to survive. "If you'd like, I can take the apprentices. Assess them, too. We need more warriors." The apprentices had to be capable. It was the only way to survive.

He turned slowly to Birchclaw, and quietly regarded his deputy. Brairstar recalled that a few had cried his name out during the previous exiles, deeming him guilty of those wicked deeds. The leader didn't wish to exile his own deputy, it'd be a blemish upon his own dignity if he appointed a murderer such a prestigious position.
Clearing his throat silently, Brairstar nodded. He was equally as much of a shell as Birchclaw, and was eager for a distraction before the inevitable happened. ''Of course, Birchclaw...Clearpaw, could you get the elders to bury this noble tom?'' The red warrior sighed, turning to the young medicine cat.

Birchclaw nodded, worried at how Briarstar was acting. Maybe, after all of this was over, he would ask if Briarstar needed a few moons to rest and recuperate. It would be good for his health.
"Minnowpaw, Rosepaw, Nightpaw," he called, padding into the center of the camp. "We're all going hunting. This is also going to be an assessment, so please do your best."

Birchclaw padded over to Rosepaw. "Hey," he said gently. "It'll be alright. When you become a warrior, I'll ask Briarstar to take you to the Moonstone, and we can say hi to everyone." He looked up. Though it was day, he could imagine the stars at night. "Remember, they're just waiting in Starclan."
