Frostwing padded out of the Medicine Cat Den so Duskpaw could be properly healed without her in the way. She wanted to give Viperpaw some time to be with Duskpaw alone too, since they seemed to be close friends. Such a startle, these past days had brought. It seemed that nothing was ever going their way, and Frostwing wondered when the skies really would clear, and that bright things would shine down on them all. Laying down, the white she-cat curled her feathery tail around herself for comfort, head on her paws. She hoped that StarClan hadn't truely given up on them, that would be so horrible.

{I'm so sorry I haven't posted in a while! School got hectic, life got crazy, and my attention is split between many different things. -.- It's been.... A bit crazy. I promise I'll try to keep up more. <3 }

Flutterpaw had darted off from Naomi with her ears pricked and her tail fluffed. Of course, clumsy as she was, she tripped over a tree root, tumbling a few feet and landing with her legs behind her and her face in the dirt. Sitting up, she re-adjusted her cardinal's feather and picked herself out of the dust. More carefully this time she shook off the brown freckling her white fur and picked her way over to the place where she had lightly buried her feathered prey. The lithe she-cat gingerly plucked choice tail feathers and the longest wing feathers of both the blue jay and the sparrow before turning to trot back to Naomi. I hope she'll like these... Flutterpaw thought to herself, clutching the precious cargo in needle-sharp teeth.

Flutterpaw practically flew around a corner, her black-furred paws slamming into the ground and stirring up dust. She finally slowed to a stop near Naomi, her eyes bright as she set down the colorful wing and tail feathers gingerly. "There... You go." She panted, her deep hazel eyes twinkling with excitement. "I hope you like them."

Emberflight stood, and flashed Crookedtail a smile. "I hope he did too. Survive, I mean. And it's alright. We've all lost family, friends, and even those we didn't know we would miss until they were gone. All we can do is hope." Her eyes brightened, and she gave her pelt a light shake to dethatch the leaves clinging to her tail fur. "Anywhere you choose, take your pick! Maybe wherever the wind takes us! To the moon! The stars!" She rambled in a louder tone, a clear bit of sarcasm to her voice and a twinkle in her eyes.

{I've still been reading over this, but I don't know where the person who RPed Crookedtail has gone. XD And I've been really busy. I feel like, with what you said, Calico, that we should skip to the next place soon. We are running out of things to do here. XD }
